The best way to study French?

My 10 year old boy is studying French, but I know French very little. I think posting on the Foreign forum is the best way to understand this Language. By Google translation, I can understand what are they discussing but how I post any words so I can't improvement my French ability. I hope I can find out the best website for beginner study French Language.

I had good marks at school but I never liked french (prefer english xD)... anyway.... the best way to study french is with someone that understands french.... its much easier to learn
