What do you think of Voice ot text Software? Anyone ever tried it and had good experiences with it? Ever wanted to try it? Thoughts? I'm getting a bit sick of typing out a bunch of stuff and I can talk much faster then I can type, thus. A higher productivity level. I'm very fond of productivity & I can talk almost endlessely as long as i'm not yelling and thus. I can see a real benefit in Voice to text software as long as it works sort of well. What about you, what do you think of voice to text software?

I've also thought of this many a times.. but within the constrains of my knowledge there are no commercial softwares that can succesfully convert voice perfectly to text. The windows speech recognition is showing improvement but still not a practical method. Morover a perfect software if developed requires huge processing time (considering the algorithm being used now, by comparing it with each and every word with possibly similar pronouncation).. So lets wait for that to happen.. pretty soon, voice recognition will become an important means of input! Lets hope for the best!

Yes, I agree with your opinions. If voice and text can convert easily, I think it will improve the inputing skills. Sometimes I have a dream that I can speak to the computer, and the computer can understand me perfectly and show the words to me. However, the current technical does not make my dream come true. Maybe, the function will be come true in the futrue soon.
