Favourite place to go on a hot day

Where is your favourite place to visit on a hot summer day? Mine would have to be just sitting out in the back garden with my girlfriend.I find it really fun and relaxing; not that we have had much of a summer this year but when we have had hot days ive tryed to make the most of them. What would your ideal place be to visit on a hot day, the park or the pub maybe? I find it interesting to know what other people like to do

Hi, jacktalbot07. I like to go to the park so that I can sit in front of the cool shade. It is fun walking with my kids and seeing all of the many different things at the park.

A friend and I usually go out to the river or the lake to go swim and cool down. We were out there almost every weekend last month, but this month has been too cool. We haven't been even once. If it gets warm and we can't go out there, I like to go out for a drive with the windows open. That's another good way to get cool quickly.
