I went out to go shopping yesterday. There was two women constantly chatting with each other. It seemed they found a common topic. Also they might enjoy themselves ,but it was terrible for me.Why many people don't consider for others? Selfish is the excuse for them .Guys ,what is your opinion about this question ?

I agree with you. I also find it’s annoying, especially in a crowded bus. People just talk each other loudly and never stop. They totally ignore other passengers as air. So you have no where to escape from the noises.
It’s the reason sometimes I feel scared to take bus especially in the peak time. I think some people are selfish, some people just don’t realise how annoying the noise is. It need the whole society to do something for it.
Not only in a public transport, also other public area, such as museum and cinema.

Hi mickly,
People chatting with one another on any public transport is ok. I don't dislike them.
As long as they do not talk too loud as to become a nuisance it is their right to do so. In a long journey train, if the discussion has become too loud and wake you up from your sweet slumber, you have the right to sound them for chatting too loud. In this case, they have to tone down their discussion.

Hi Mickly. I don't mind people chatting together on public transportation as long as they are not loud or obnoxious, or when they aren't discussing something that should be private. But yes, out of respect for other passengers, they should keep the conversation quiet and "clean."
I feel the same about those who are on their cell phones in public, especially on speaker phone or when in walkie talkie/two-way mode.

Hi, in Japan not many people talk loudly in the train or trolleybus, cell phone also don't to be raised up to use, everyone dislike talk about his/her private affair in public, i always feel they are too quiet, but if you speak English loudly, they are admiring you, because some Japanese are worshiping America or English-spoken counries.
Enjoy mylot!

There are some basic manners to cope up with.In a public place, people should not be loud so that it will be disturbing others.Unless they are not exceeding their limits we can't blame them.It is because we are in some tensions and hurries,we are disturbed by such activities. If we have a clear mind, they will not be seen disturbing much. Some times we can enjoy the conversation too.Cheers!

Hi Mickly
I have to say i don't really dislike people chatting on the bus, it only gets irritating if they start to talk out loud, i don't like that, people talking loudly in public places, now that is something that bugs me, sometimes they talk loud to boast, i don't like people boasting... if they have some thing to talk about then let it all be between the both and not let it out of the box... in a bus sometimes i travel with my close friend and he also gets excited about some things, he plays bass and sometimes he talks it all loud as if he wants to show off, i tell him not to do that... to me doing something like that is mean and people do mind if one does that.

So far as they are not disturbing me or not chatting about me it is not a problem. They should not talk loudly or distract others that is the important aspect.
