I wanted to make some extra money online and this whole taking surveys thing sounded appealing. Not sure what I was thinking. Like they weren't going to spam the heck out of me? That it, I admit it, I am an online idiot. So am I online or are any of my fellow idiots out there?

Here's a tip that I learned the hard way. Never sign up for anything using your primary email address. Sign up for a couple of free gmail email addresses and use them. I had to ask my ISP to change my primary email address because I was getting flooded with spam emails. I think you can go to gmail.com and get them, if not just PM me and I will send you an invite for one.
There are a lot of scams out there, so never pay any money to join a program until after you get your feet wet working free programs and learn the ropes.

That is good advice. There are some legitimate survey sites out there. I have signed up for several of the programs offered on http://www.mommiesmakingmoneynow.com and I am earning small amounts here and there. If I had more time I think I could really make more.
Tips: Never sign up for survey you have to pay for
Always keep track of free trial offers you may enroll for and cancel before
before being charged
I like the email address tip to - that was good.

I admit I've been a victim of online scam last March. It was like having to register first with payment so you can get started. That time I wasn't knowledgeable with legit online jobs. I just wanted to earn some extra cash. Instead of earning something, I ended up broke. I hope this won't happen to anyone else.

Well I think at 1 point or another you will fall for this. Specially right now when everyone is trying to make some extra money. You don't think it will be a scam at first, you are just wishing it will be a good (easy way) to make money but in fact is not.
