If People in China are only allowed one child what happens if they have twins?

I am curious, if someone in china had twins, triplets etc. Would they have to get rid of the extra children? And what about conjoined twins?

Most of the other children in the family in China are brought into an orphanage so that the one-child-policy can be maintained by a family. Especially some Chinese don't practice family planning or contraception so thats what they do when it happens then the child will be for adoption for somebody else. Its such a pity but as we know that China is a big communist country and they are trying to not to let the population grow as much as possible if they can.

I thought all Chinese couples would use birth control if they already have one child. No form of it is 100% effective though so that might be how it happens.

Years ago my oldest son was watching a program on television called News Round. On it I remember seeing Chinese twins and triplets. One child is allowed so all that means is one pregnancy. It a Chinese couple have twins I guess they get two children but are allowed that. Nature can give some couples twins. Sadly there are many unwanted girls in Chinese orphanages.
