I say I saw God. What would be your reaction? You would say I am lying. I say I realized[this is the right SD-word for "seeing"] God.What would your reaction be? I am sure it would be again one of disbelief.I will tell you what I mean after seeing your reply post.

Now, I promised that I will continue this discussion about seeing God, once you reply to this post. I will recount something I read. Swami Vivekananda( when he was Narendranath alias Naren) used to go about questioning everyone he saw esp. every one of those sannyasis or holy men, "Have you seen God, Sir?". Most people replied "Er,No...". Whoever answered him in the affirmative, answered evasively. Then one day he happened to meet Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. They met at the place of an admirer of Shri RKP, where Naren sang in a melodious voice. Shri RKP saw Naren and asked him to stay back after everyone had left. Naren had the same question: Shri RKP told him,"Yes! I have seen God". Naren was thrilled but still in disbelief asked, "How does He look? In what form was He ?" "I saw Him just like I am seeing you.", said Shri RKP. The next question to Shri.RKP was,"Can you show Him to me?" Sh.RKP said,"Yes! I can." "What should I do for that?" asked young Naren. "Come and meet me at Dakshhineshwar Kali temple." said Sh.RKP. Young Naren went to Dakshinaeshwar, and still in disbelief, kept going to this man. Naren who was a very bright student, well educated in the western ways from quite a well to do family. He went to this man who hadn't had any formal education! Now that is how one finds God. The next time round, I will recount a beautiful parable Sh.RKP told about How to 'see' God!

I did not see God. Awww...how sad..I guess I am not gifted as anyone.Btw, no1 had seen God. If they had seen God would they be still here. Common sense. I am not saying it in a negative way but frankly those who survived seeing God could not tell the secret so I would not think that anyone will say they saw God. We can only believe in God. That's the closest that we can get to God after praying that is..lol

I agree with your point but there is existence of God and several times I feel it and even he helped me when I am in trouble...Don't you think so..

He did help but not directly and definitely not by our sight but like you said by realization. I hope this clears things up to you. Even if you did see God. He won't let you start a discussion such as this. Hopefully you will find God eventually at the judgment day. Please enjoy the time that He had helped you and Thank Lord for what He had did for you. At this point of time there is not a God sightseeing phenomenon. He isn't for display whether the age-old question of God is true. I hope you will believe him and pray to Him that's all and may God bless you.

Very few people in Earth's history have ever seen God, and I am not one of them. I realize God in my life, and His guiding hand and spirit, as is written: He directs the steps of the righteous. I in no way consider myself to be a righteous man, and am well aware of my own faults, but seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness, and all other things will be given to you. But seriously, look around yourself. Not even here on earth...look throughout the whole of the universe, and His handiwork is there to awe even the hardest of hearts. I have not seen God, but I have seen His fingerprints, heard His voice, seen His hand opening and closing doors, and place my trust and heart in His hands, without reservation. I am wholly His.
