I do love travelling. I think that by travelling it really opens up your eyes and teaches you new things about other places and other cultures which might be different from your own. I don't have enough cash to travel at the moment unfortunately, but I have been to quite a few places in the past. I don't mind going somewhere where I don't know the language - in fact, I think that makes it a whole lot more exciting!

Hello, Glad to see that you also love travelling
Here in India it is not very costly to travel
to places you want to. I have seen in West Bengal, India
that most of the families decide where they want to go in the
year beginning. They start saving and save through out the
year and make the trip in the year end.
Have a nice day

I love to explore different countries in the world and never get tired of traveling. It can be interesting to find out about other cultures and find out about the history. Having a language barrier can be challenging in a place like Bulgaria. I usually visit at least one country a year. In 2009 I went to South Africa whilst in 2008 I went to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. When I was 20 years old I spent just over one year traveling around the world.

It is very nice to hear. But I visit only places
within my country India. In India itself there are
many places whcih I have not yet visited. In general I
like mountains.I feel language is no barrier.

Yes there are times that I get tired of it but I still enjoy traveling. I will get tired if I am traveling for 3 hours or more. I love traveling as I like to explore new places and learn new cultures. I love adventurous trips when I travel and I like taking photos of good sceneries that I see. I travel like 2-4 times a year so its not so much and its not really business related so I can do other things to enjoy the trip or just relax if I wanted. Some businessmen don't like traveling as they get tired of that kind of lifestyle but they can't do anything since its part of their job while other businessmen enjoys it.

Hi Sophie
Glad that you share the joys of travelling like me.
Yes during trips to places unknown we come to learn so many things.
The culture, food, language, traditions and customs and what not.
That too if you are with your loved ones the happiness
is manyfold. Ofcourse those go combining their business
cannot enjoy to that extent to that of others who go
only to enjoy. Since I always go with my family I can make it
only once a year.

Even the places that I don't know the language or culture, I always found somebody that can speak English...LOL, so a bit English plus all the body/sign language will do. And we laernt the culture while we travelling there. I think people in there will understand the "odd" of us that visiting. LOL..I still enjoy the trip, no matter what.

Hello, Thanks
You are correct. While visiting a place
we can still enjoy even if we do not know the
language and hence we cannot comminicate with the local
people. But we all know the best language "sign language"
I think anyone can get along anywhere with this language
If we can create a positive vibe with the lcoals
the trip becomes a pleasure trip

I love travelling and I don't think that I will ever get tired of visiting new places. I always read about the country that I want to visit. I think it is important to know a bit about the culture. Things that are considered polite in one country is impolite in other contries, and each country has their own traditions, superstition, unwritten rules etc. I don't want to behave in a way that is disrespectful towards the locals, so it is nice to know a bit about the country before I leave. I always try to learn some of the language. I like to travel on my own, and it makes things so much easier when I am able to read the signs etc.

Hi, thanks for your response.
I think you go fully prepared to enjoy
every bit of your trip.Yes knowing about the place
you are going to visit always helps. Knowing about
the culture and some knowledge of the language
greatly helps. Evey place has cheaters.
Some knowledge about the place and language makes
one careful that eventually saves money, energy and
troubles. As a result you return home with sweet memories about the trip

Yes, many times. I am not very fond of travelling, but my husband is a travelling freak. If I go to a tourist spot, I will be intrested to buy things more than sight seeing. I am fond of shopping. Last week I went to a hill station along with my friends and got back on Monday morning and went to office on the same day. I was very tired whole week till I got the weekend to take rest.

Hi daliaj, happy that you are also fond of travelling
I am also fond of buying things wherever I go.
But nowadays I control myself because of space
problems. My house is already filled with things
which I have collected and which I do not want to
dispose off. So I do not collect any more.
But I would like to grab the first chance to travel
and visit places

I love visiting new places whether I know the language and culture or not. Usually I'm tired and ready to go home by the end of the trip though.
