Why Believe in Mother mary?

Over Centuries, two major castes in Christianity stand apart & one of the major reason being Mother Mary! One group say that you need to pray to Mary & the other say that you Don't need to Pray to her. What do you say or what will you do?

Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us how to pray to our Heavenly Father God with "The Lord's Prayer". And that the only way to get through to God is to pray through him, Jesus Christ. So when you pray you end your prayer with in our Lord Jesus Christ name. Amen. Now I'm not going to knock the religious sect that believes in praying to Mary (mother of God) and I think maybe they teach that you can pray to other Saints for various things. Maybe there are different ways to get messages to God. I, personally, prefer praying to God in the name of Jesus.
