Earnings and Page Views...Has Anyone Noticed Anything Strange?

I logged into my AC page over the weekend and found that I had earned a little over $3 for the month. A few minutes ago, I went to the AC site to look at the Calls for Content offering and noticed that my page views and earnings more than tripled
Not only did I not submit any new articles this month, but I also didn't promote any of the articles recently... so I was quite stunned! I understand that it may be a glitch in the system, but it would be quite cool if that's not the case.
I did read an article in AC's community forums of a member that wrote an article 2 years ago. The writer claimed that out of the blue, the article received more than a thousand views! Someone on one of the sites he promoted the article on two years ago, came across the article and made the article a favorite...and that is all it took!
I promote my handmade jewelry that same site and quite often my new items receive 300-400 views in the first 24 hours. I have also promoted a few of my AC submissions there and I wonder if that could be the reason for the big jump in views?
Has anyone checked their views and performance earnings for the month today? Are both numbers close to what they were last week or did you also find a huge jump in the numbers?

I haven't noticed a big jump in my earnings or my page views but I sure wouldnt mind. I made about $25 last week, but not much this week. As suggested earlier, check your articles and see if one has had a huge spike in page views.

It seems like 8 or 9 articles all had large spikes..1 a little more than the others, but they were bigger than normal.
Thanks for your response.

My page views tend to jump around a lot when it comes to how much I earn each month. I am not really sure why this is but I assume it is because people are researching my articles around the times that I make more money. I make anywhere from eighteen to twenty eight dollars a month for my content. I really enjoy associatedcontent because of that.

Well, the only time I would say mine would be increasing if the next time I log in there to check and think about submitting something there, I am finally over the $1.50 mark. I have only a couple of articles submitted there, and have never gotten anything yet on performance payout. I have thought about trying to submit some more stuff there this month to see if I can get any closer for sure. But last I checked I was still under $1.

That sounds pretty cool, congratulations! You just have to love those page views! LOL My page views generally don't ever spike like that. It seems like there is a gradual day by day increase which I find pretty cool too.

Thanks. I haven't checked my earnings there lately. I will check and see if there is any difference since a few weeks back. I need to get busy and write an article for them. Hmmm.
