i think toddlerhood is harder because they are walking and getting into everything.. plus the question "why" comes up alot

My daughter was easy to take care of as a newborn. This toddler stage she's going through is definitely much more work.

I have to say newborns is wonderful, no cheeckyness, no tantrums, they stay where you put them, easier to cuddle, easier to change bums lol.
My 20 month old is exploring everything, pushing her limit to see where boundries are, into everything. Lets not forget the wonderful tantrums
but love the words she says and interaction and games we now play.

Newborns are hard because of the fact that you seldom get any deep sleep. Most new parents just get "cat naps" between feedings and changings. This can lead to psychotic episodes after several weeks. HAHA toddlers are harder also because they want to be independent so the adults have to learn to be patient enough to let the child try things for themselves.

Toddlers!!!! Once they are mobile it's all over, you are constantly on your toes......

I think there are good things and bad things about each stage. One thing I found difficult about babies, is having to carry them everywhere. It was so nice to give my shoulders a break and not have to lug around that car seat.
I guess you often have to carry toddlers too, but at least you can take a break once in a while.
Both my babies weren't great sleepers, so I vaguely remember that period as a time of going about life as a zombie.

i agree toddlers are harder like you said because they are walking and getting into everything.Newborns, all they do is sleep all day and cry when they are hungry.
