another really slow day here?

Roses are red, violets are purple, we are no slower than maple syruple. Daisies are white, lobelia is blue, I wish that I had gone to the zoo. Shamrocks are green, and so is my sage, It was five fifteen when I received a page. Crepe myrtle is pink, mums are bronze, I need to sleep I have the yawns. Petunias are purple, tomatoes are red, I will see you all, I am going to bed.

No dawn, I didn't go to the zoo at all. I went to the lake and spent the entire day there basking in the sun and watching the kids having fun in the water. It was a nice and relaxing day. After the lake adventure, we all went back to my daughter's house and had a barbecue. It was great. I'm sorry that you didn't get an invite. You'd have had a good time, I'm sure. next time...ok?

Oh this is too much fun! I know how you feel, I feel it too, I come here sometimes, and I feel blue. No one is around, there's nothing to do, I think you are right, they're all at the Zoo.....boohoo.

Im not sure what you are talking about here but no i havent been to a zoo in a long tim and i dont know you so of course i wouldn't invite you but hopefully you dont have such a slow day tommorrow again. I feel that today though on mylot there wasnt a lot of discussions to respond to but hopefully there will be tommorrow.

Well, I am actually surprized with it being the end of the month that this site has been as quiet as it is a lot of the time. I know I work Full time and days so that is why I am not here during the day, but things are slower with discussions being started in here for sure. Maybe everyone is busy getting their kids back to school, and last minute Summer vacations but I am still around. Just depends how much time I have to come in here.

hi dawnald oh my goodness take me along too I love to go to'the zoo as I am just a kid at heart when it comes to the zoo and circuses.it does seem slow here for some reason. lets all go to the zoo and take 'all our mylot friends with us.I am feeling silly and happy tonight as my son spent the evening visiting me. I think it weird that I am now in a retirement center when the fact is when I was a kid,I always said when I get old I dont want to go to a retirement center, sit in a rocking chair and wish someone anyone would come visit me. of course this place is a far cry from the places I saw as a child.for one thing this is an assisted care place, not a place for p eople who cannot do for themselves at all, and we go about our days as most other people do.we can go shopping or go for walks or visit friends,we are not patients we are retirees .but still we do need frequent visits from our kin to keep us in the circle so to speak.aNd there are no rocking chairs here either. hehe
