Yes! I love the satisfying noise each key makes as it strikes the paper.

yea... it used to nice to use typewriter earlier... but computer has render typewriters useless now! Anywaz... i also have a typewriter at home which my father used earlier but now use no more!

techieanuj: I learned to type on a MANUAL typewriter in the early 50's! And to use a manual calculator (an adding machine with a lever) and take shorthand on a lined pad with a pencil! As technology matured, so did I. but I had the basic skills with which to do it. When my eldest son went to High school, I suggested he make typing classes a priority because he would need it for book reports, homework,etc, and in college, too! He took my advise. He says it's the best advice I ever gave him. Today, he's a Computer Engineer, and his typing skills have served him well. He can type faster than I can anymore! That wasn't always true, I could type 160 wpm on the manual, when electrics came out, it went up from there! Sometimes, when the computer is out of whack, or the lights go out, I wish I hadn't given my old Underwood manual away! Grandy3

i have never been worked on a type writer but too on computer

yes...a lot of times in my mother's office there is one and i used it many times and i studied type writing in that computer.................but can't study fully..........
