National banks have branches worldwide, as a rule. Chances are, there are British banks in India like Barclays etc. You can join a branch on line, you don't have to travel miles though you may have to mail some i.d. I'd say that would be the best route forward.

Sounds like a silly thing. So that's mean for non england resident must go to england and open a bank account in order to use ciao again? Perhaps we should contact ciao's admin and ask them how could we open an england banking account because we are not an england resident. Perhaps they have a super magic which can make us have an england banking account just in minute LOL. I think ciao is not good anymore since it has changed a lot. I don't know what's wrong with ciao, but the fact is ciao is totally different with its previous time. I hope it they really want to re-open its membership for the earlier blacklisted countries, they can give the best solution for payment method.
