Both of our eyes are on the front of our faces because as a species we are classed as a predator and we eat meat. A species that does not eat meat say for example a cow, they have their eyes on the sides of their faces

actually not all nonpreditor creatures have eyes on the sides, monkeys are vegan and they have eye structure the same way as we, humans do.

depending on how the eyes are positioned vision is different. for example animals that have eyes on right and left side of teh head, like zebras have larger radius of vision, but they can't concentrate on one thing as well and they don't see ahead of them as well ar those who have eyes in froms. Humans have monkey heritage and we needed to be able to see ahead of us so we can jump from branch to branch and not miss. If we missed it would be a shame becaseu on teh bottom there were preditors lol.

LOL! would u like your other eye where? or where do you think our eyes should be located? anyway, in my opinion, our eyes were put in only one side so we can only see what lies ahead and not back. we cannot see all the things at one time so we have the chance to trust whatever is behind us.^^;
