All students are not good at maths so they feel very bored doing maths. But if they practice more and more their interest grows in maths. My daughter had the same problem but now she has became good in maths so she likes maths. She had lack of confidence doing maths but now it has improved. Please discuss.

i think maths is not a boring subject, even nothing is boring in life.this depends on your interest taken at the right moment.
if you set your mentality that mathematics is very simp;le to solve to learn then after some days you will find that you gonna love mathematics this is not only for mathematics.
it is the fact that if you are master in any field then you always take an interest on it and if i talk about myself then it's true that i m master in mathematics.
so in point of my view mathematics is very very very very ............... interesting subject.

Definitely, if a person takes interest in any subject, nothing would seem boring.
I believe in one thing, just enjoy whatever you do, take interest, pay heed and you'll rock!
Mathematics, for me is like a puzzle. You just need to select the right tool and apply at the right place, a sequence of such steps generate a solution!!

I like maths very much before the college, and i am proud of it.now along with the future study,i found the maths is very very difficult!
According to my observation,as a whole, boys are better than girls in maths.DO you think so?

Hello bhargavoza,
Sometimes the interest of the student in the Math subject would depend on the teacher. thinking about the subject itself would make the student uninterested, because they would always have the perception that math is so difficult. But when the teacher is good and was able to catch the student's attention, the student would love studying Math. he would be fond of doing his assignments and seat works, thinking that the teacher is doing his job really well.

I did not like maths when I was in junior school. And my maths teachers often let me go to his office to blame me the low score in the tesst. And I didn't like him.My performance has been better till I was in the high school.Because I like our maths teacher. He was patient and passionate. And he never blamed me.Gradually,I was good at the subject .But I was told that I still had plenty of scope for improvements in logical thoughts. The fundamental reason for my improvement largely depends on the teacher whether I like.Maybe it sounds ridiculous. But I do care a lot about the teacher.

interest is the best teacher you can ever find in the pursuit of a certain subject, that's what i think.at least i see it proved true on me.math is fun to me and i would love to spend time on a difficult math problem.when you finally find the right answer, the excitement is overwhelming, making all the hard efforts worthy.
of course,i find it hard ,too.instead of making me give up,this just arouse stronger will in my heart to learn it well!
hope your daughter will find her interest in math ,and be really good at it !!

I like maths because it's one of the only things in life I feel makes sense. Granted, I found it easy at school and find it hard to understand what isn't to understand about it. I have been academic as long as I can remember though, when I was a kid I took tests for Mensa so I guess I was always good at maths.

hi!!! when I was young I also dont like math. But when I have a good teacher in the elementary I get addicted to it. I think its the way he teaches the subject. The lesson is like a play,....I cant forget what he said that time "math is everywhere, on the things around us , on what every we do, why should you afraid of math if its our daily life".....

Mathematics fascinates me a lot.I love to play with numbers. One hour is enough for me to complete a three hour Maths Exam with full marks.Backbone of maths are its tables, formulas, practice and more brain work.Once we get interested we will never hate it.

In fact mathematics is an interesting subject. However, due to the study pressure and I find it boring step by step. Now I don't have to study mathematics any more, but sometimes I am interested in reading some books about it. Of course it is not advanced mathematics books:)
I love China

It's extreeeeeemely boring for me. I can't barely do my 2 plus 2. But it's boring only because I don't understand it. I just can't. I've tried, but I don't have that kind of intelligence. I'm really good for philosophy and art, but if you give me big creepy numbers, I'll just act like a small children and start crying. LOL
