I am a vegetarian and definitely like vegetarian food only. Even vegetarian diet has gained extreme popularity all over the world. It is preferred by most of the people through out the world. A vegetarian diet is a key to healthy and long life. Many NGOs are strictly against eating meat, fish or other non vegetarian foods. Vegetarian food typically includes vegetables, fruits and grains while are no doubt good for our health. They are rich in fiber, folate, vitamins and minerals. Beans and seeds are some good sources of proteins. Vegetables consists of phytochemicals which prevent some major chronic diseases and green leafy vegetables are rich in antioxidants. Eat vegetarian and be natural

I am a vegetarian, and it's hard to find a good vegetarian restaurant in my city. There is one, and yes, it is very clean and they prepare the food well. The thing I like about those kind of restaurants is that even though they may be expensive, they usually use very good quality fruits and veggies and most organic, so you know you're getting something without pesticides and grown naturally. Still, there are a lot of restaurants that serve things like veggie burgers but they cook it on the same grill as the hamburgers! Vegetarians (like me) won't eat that! Anyway, vegetarian restaurants sometimes have interesting and different entrees on the menu, so you can go and try something new you have never had before! XOXO Busie

Things are changing a lot. A 19 year old girl in USA, is a vegetarian, and just like we Indians, would not take a vegetable burger because, they cook it in the same grill as the hamburgers. Do you know, in India, Mcdonalds do not have either a Ham burger or a beef burger in their menu.

I'm a vegetarian, so yeah, lots of vege food for me! I love being vegetarian, and i love eating vegetarian food. But, sometimes it's hard for me if I want to eat out, it's hard to find any vegetarian restaurants near my home. Lucky for me, I'm a good cook, and don't like to eat out often anyway.

I have been a vegetarian all my life as most people in my country are vegetarians. You see, the climate of our country is not conducive to non-veg food since it is hot and humid throughout the year.Besides it is against our religion to eat non veg food. There are thousands of varieties of delicious vegetarian foodstuffs prepared in our country therefore going to a veg restaurant is no big deal for us. Nowadays many people have taken to non veg food so you find excellent hotels serving both types of food. I, personally do not like or eat red meat or fish but i like chicken and eggs. I eat eggs 3 times a week but eat chicken only if some friend is kind enough too cook it at his/her house and give it to me.lol.

Yes!I like vegetarian foods because I am now a vegetarian. But I object your views on vegetarian restaurants.Cleanliness has no relation to vegetarian or non vegetarian. It is the responsibility of the owners and the workers there.I have seen neatly maintained non veg restaurants. And we can't say all veg restaurants are neat.Cheers!

I like to have vegetarian food for five days a week, but like to have non-veg during weekend. I do enjoy non-veg, but I don't like to take non-veg to office because it smells and it won't be nice to have non-veg cold. I don't have any option in office to heat up my lunch. I cook non-veg on weekends at home.

Well you are eating a combination of vegetarian and non vegetarian diets. Vegetarian food has its own advantage and helps to protect from many chronic diseases. They contain low amount of fats, cholesterol and saturated fats which results in minimizinf the risk of weight gain. Thus reduces the possibilities of developing the health problems caused by obesity. Vegetarian diet also reduces the blood cholesterl levels and decreases the risk of various disorders such as high blood pressure, stroke, heart diseases, diabetes, kidney diseases, etc. Although vegetarian diet provides all the essential nutrients, there are some factors that we can get in more amounts from the meat or fish. Meat is considered as the major source of vitamin B12. Meat, chicken, fish and poultry contain more quantities of iron and zinc and are rich source of proteins and contains the essential amino acids required by the body. Phosphorus present in the meat is easily absorbed than that present in legumes and cereals. Non-vegetarian is always recommended for body builders as they require a protein rich diet. But I am a pure vegetarian and only support vegetarian food.

I like vegetarian foods because those are very healthy to our body. I used to be a vegetarian but I started eating meat in 2005. In my country, there a few vegetarian restaurants here as there are not so many vegetarians here. Most of the people like to eat meat. Vegetarian foods are also organic so it cost more than any common food available locally. I am thinking of going vegetarian again as I have observed a big weight gain on myself. I know its not easy but I know that I can do it again.

I dont like eating too much of vegetables, but most of the time i have to eat vegtarian food only.I love eating non vegetarian foods mostly, in it i love chicken a lot.I never eat fish because i hate its smell too and lamb is very rare, if i ever eat then i just eat chicken a lot and madly in love with it too.But i have chicken once in a month or something like that but not regular, for that i just survive on vegetables.

well I wont say I hate it, but I don't like it much, its not that i eat non-veg everyday but then I still prefer having non-veg food......few of my friends are pure veg so i have to have veg food with them......I don't really mind most of the time......and yes if you consider having food from an restaurant or any outside stalls then i would definitely go for veg food as the hygiene is maintained and you know that what you are having is veg, in non-veg these days the food is being adulterated on a very high scale so you don't really know what that road side vender is feeding you with !!!!

This is really amazing, a person from Vietnam, talking about vegetarian food. Dont get me wrong, I was in Vietnam some 14 to 15 years back, and I was not able to find any vegetarian food there. Even though I eat non vegetarian food, on some days like Saturdays and on new moon and full moon days we do not take non vegetarian food.So when I was in Vietnam, I was not able to get the vegetarian foods and I had to spend the entire day consuming only soft drinks and flavoured milk. Since egg is also considered as non vegetarian food for us, I was not able to take any pastries or even a Sandwich. Nice to see that you have vegetarian restaurants, now days in Vietnam.
