As far as I know, Sen.Ted Kennedy was the sole survivor of the Kennedy Brother's which perhaps experienced a peaceful death in comparison to the violent deaths of his brothers. The late senator has triumphantly stirred his political life despite his defeat of the presidential run in the 80's against Pres.Carter. The American people can reflect on his death, that maybe the senator, if given the chance to become a President, he too will guide the nation forward.

Actually, after he left that woman to die years ago, i have to say that I lost respect for this man. He never paid for that crime nor did he show remorse. Sorry but I'm surprised he continued in politics and I'm glad that he did not make it to the presidency. For me, It said a lot about him as a person. I've never liked the man since that incident. Had he manned up and admitted that he was wrong and shown some remorse, I may have felt some compassion...he never did. It said a lot about him as a person. I never got beyond that no matter how many good political deeds he did.
