Do you think we could learn English language with join mylot?

Yes we could improve our English by reading discussions and responding to them. By responding, this serve as our training, Is it not there's a saying that constant practice makes perfect?

You can learn or even improve your english joining mylot. But we must post and talk at least 2-3 hours per day. You can improve your english by joining live online games and talking with other players. I know myself i wasn't so good at beggining i was just like you , i was spending like a half an hour to reply to a message.

Honestly, when I started with mylot, I am already happy if I can post around two to three sentences. Months had pass and I have seen that my responses and discussions had improved. I can post now 6 - 8 lines in all the discussions. Before, i just keep on responding to different discussions but now I can already make my own discussion as long as one paragraph. And of course, i get a lot of responses. English is not our main language.We have our own dialect but we are trained or educate on how to speak english so that we can communicate to different people around the globe. I know you are also different nationality but i can see that you can now express yourself in english in a better and clear way. happy mylotting!!

you are right,i like you ,too.my english is poor.i only read english article ,but i can't write in english.now i can write a little in english on mylot.i hope know some friend from others country.

Hello Zhizho. I admit I have improve a lot in Mylot too. Not only the English language is improved, the way to social with others is something we can learn here, LOL. I admit for those who take English as their second language is a little tough to begin mylotting here. But practice makes perfect, just like what you said, you have practice to post a new discussion from 30 minutes to only 2 minutes. This is a good achievement! I am sure there are many members here mylotting at the same time learn what they are doing. By the way, if you want to improve your English, you can start blogging too. It is a way you can express your thoughts and keep things remember in your blog.

Yes, I think mylot is a good place for a person to learn their English skills. I know it has helped me in my typing and spelling skills. When I first started in mylot it would take me forever to post anything because my typing and spelling was so bad. I had to look at the keys when I was typing and then read my discussion to correct any typing errors and spelling mistakes. So it took me about half an hour to write something of substance, like this response. Now I can type without looking at the keys and looking at the screen so I don't have to take the time to read it after to correct anything because I can now correct them as I go along.

I do think that we can improve our English with mylot. It is a place where we can practice what we already know and try to get better at it, with the help of other mylot members.

Hi,joining mylot is a good way to learn English.In here,I can learn many idoms and original expressions.It also helps me think in English,which is good in learning.Im happy you make progress in English with mylot.Stick to it,and you will get more.

I experience what you say.English is not my mother tongue and I can't speak it fluently as well.In the beginning,it takes me some time to think and type.But now I am at ease to come out with good speed to type my answers directly without thinking much.But still,I sometimes miss the grammatical errors when narrating things.Soon,I will correct them too.Cheers!

I'm sure that mylotting could help you to get better at the language or help you improve faster maybe but I don't think that you could learn the English language only by using mylot. There are a lot of typos and people not putting sentences together well and things like that which wouldn't be that great to learn from.

Yes I believe it is one of the many advantages to be in mylot where we get to improve my english language too and this is something wonderful to me, where I meet many people and I even started to learn chinese after having some friends here.

I think we can learn for being better in typing English. I don't think we can learn much about English grammar from mylot because there's alot of people using bad grammar here, including me LOL. But however, by typing and typing in a row on mylot, it wil affecting our writing skills. Also, by reading as much as english words, we will learn some new words indirectly. This is a matter of habit. Based on my own experience, on 1998, when the internet chatting was booming. I learnt many things and learnt fast typing from my chatting habit. So i think by letting ourselves in typing habit, sooner or later we will learn many things unconsciously. However it's a good thing for us. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Hi Zhizho, other my native language and mother tongue, English is first foreign which I like to learn. I find it's quite easy for me to learn things in many aspects if I could handle this language nicely. I'm really glad that I have joined the right site, myLot as member. Here I have the freedom to pick any topic which I'm interested to express my feeling and idea whenever I have free time. It's so relaxing that there is no time limited to participate in any activities available here. The mutual interactions in discussions make the activities more interesting and joyous. No discrimination in poor language writing as well, and these seem like great impetus to push me to keep on writing posts here often I have more confidence to type post here after I had registered as member of this site few years back. Yeah, we could learn and enhance English language here for sure if we could read and write posts here regularly and persistently. Happy posting

A lot of mylot members have definitely improve their English skills upon joining mylot. So I think it will also help in learning English. We all know that when we post, it is important that we post it in English. So the longer you stay here, there is always the possibility of learning and improving.

Immersion into any language should help you in getting a better understanding, I would think. Since you already have a basic knowledge of it, it will only get better for you.

Mylot is a great way to practice english, however, what is not too good about practicing english here is that there are very few mylotters who will bother to correct misspellings and grammatical errors. I guess you know you're understandable if you get a lot of responses.

Dear Zhinzho, That is the advantage of Mylot. Here you not only earn money but the biggest thing you earn is knowledge!!! and that too FREE!!!. Because of the enthusiasm you have while participating in discussion, you tend to start thinking in English and automatically you improve your English skills.
