Inappropriate Demotion

Good day. I have recently been demoted from my managerial status which I have held for the last 14 years. This demotion came only a few weeks after I returned from a 12 week maternity leave that senior management was against me taking so long. Not to mention a new senior manager whom I have only worked with for 8 months (3 of which I was on FMLA). I feel totally discriminated against. The accusations for the demotion were false and very upsetting for they demean my character. I am so embarrassed at work because of these accusations not to mention the position I now hold. I am used to a fast paced, high stress, problem solving position. I have now been demoted to absolutely nothing.

You know you might have a case to bring a lawsuit against your company for that. If I were you I would talk to a lawyer and see if you have a case, then get a job somewhere else and commence with the litigation. People sue over some really stupid things, but this is not one of them. This is a valid complaint.
