Is money the root of all evil?

how can u say that. money is the base for all the good things. if u have money u can eat good, wear good. u can buy a ferrari. lot's of girls'll be around you. u can do almost anything u wish. ofcourse there is alimit but money is no root to bad things. it's a support. in original it's you. you have to decide where u want to go. if you want to do good money'll help u thr and if u want to go bad, it'll take u thr.

Hello Tfrizzle, Yeah, money can be a good thing as long as you have enough to sustain yourself but as you have more and more to save and to spend on other things, the greed increases. The want of money is what causes all these robberies and the acts of terrorism. Young budding actresses and models are ready to sleep with people for getting important assignments, which would eventually translate into money. I admit that there are acts of crime committed due to various other reasons as well, such as emotional ones,but still, money dominates in most of them. I would say that 99% of all crime is there due to money so in a way, yes, money is the root of all evil.

I've heard that a lot but I really don't think that money is the root of all evil! I think that there are some very bad people in the world and if they are lucky enough to get their hands on some serious money then they can be tempted to do all manner of evil! However, there are also a lot of good people in the world and whenever they get their hands on some serious money then it's common that they are generally giving and kind. There are a lot of positive things that you can do with money and I don't think that there's anything wrong with wanting more, I think what's more important is how you decide to use the money in the first place. I think money is not the root of all evil. There are other roots too why a person do evil things. But money is the most common reasons and it can really turn a good to be bad.

i don't think the money is the root of all evil,although some people earn the money little,but they still work hard for their life and hope that working hard can change their life and situation,i don't think that the money have this more tempt for all of people.

I must say it is not... it is the person that makes it evil. Money is just the tool. we do know though that money is important.. it is... i need money every single day of my life.... it's so tough without it. but we do not put it on top of everything else, coz there are things that are truly more important than money. everybody does need money. it only becomes bad if the person makes money the center of his universe. like everything he does evolves around money. and wold end up glorifying money. ...he would tend to do many things just to acquire it, and if he doesn't, would try to have it even in the bad way. so it is the person itself and how he perceives money to be. money inddeed is important..but not to let it control you.

Coercion/force is the root of all evil. Coercion for money and then the inflation of that money such that the poor become violent in an attempt to get money, is evil. We always want more because our money supply is hyjacked by the government, which prints money willy-nilly. If you have $30 and you let it sit under your bed for 30 years, it becomes worthless. Why do you think that is? Inflation - the printing of money. And why inflating the money supply? Good question - don't know.

If too much and not satisfied of how much we have in our pocket bad things came into our mind.In my opinion it is applicable only to those greedy, gamblers and corrupt people. We cannot blame those who are needy to do evil things such as theft if they need money for hospital bills or for their foods. But I cannot say that they are right for doing bad things like theft. Money is a wide topic. How does it affects to our lives. Every one of us has it's own reason on how to run their riches. Even the ordinary people and poor in material things they manage their money to good or evil. Only they are the one know which way. For me, fear of God can prevent us to do evil things.

Nope, I don't think so. In this modern times wherein people say there are no more things offered for "free". Therefore, money becomes an important commodity that one needs to survive. Wrong use or abuse in the use of money and allowing it to control you (instead of the other way around) is when evil arises and takes you over.

Yes. Almost money is the cause for all of the evils. Because now we have started to think like that we can do anything,buy anything,get anything,achieve anything if we have money.
