Is your PC your Best Friend?

Actually, PC and internet are only secondary. We still make friends with other people, but the computer serves as a path to lead you to those people. It depends on the person if he/she don't go out with friends anymore and stay home all day facing the computer. But for me. PC and internet are only tools to use to connect and stay interactive with other people and not our best friend and family.

I use my computer everyday. I do many things with my computer. Doing my job, doing my online activities, having fun with my computer, playing games, and many more. But i never think that my computer is my best friend. Currently i have three computers in my life. One in my office, one in my bedroom, and the last one is my laptop computer. I think with having these three computers, it doesn't mean i have three best friends in my life. I can to my job anywhere i want. No matter it's on my own computer or not, so i don't have such dependency with my own computer. If you said that computer is my important partner in my life, probably i will say yes. I have many best friends in my life. And they are trully human, not machines. If we want considering a technology gadget as our friend, or maybe even as our best friend, i think our mobile phone is more suitable than our computer. There are alot of people who claim they can life without their mobile phone with them. Sounds silly but it's a fact. In this modern world, mobile communication has become a most important thing for every people. A mobile phone number is like an identity for its owner. I can say it's like a social security number on American people. But still, no matter how important a mobile phone for modern people, i won't considered my mobile phone as my best friend. Hi murtuza~if in three years ago,I would definitely say PC was my best friend that accompanied me during the long long night and all the boring days~I did make friends online,play games,blah,blah~~ But now,PC is just a tool for me when needed,such as checking email,working,some times downloading movies,musics,but it's not my best or say closest friend anymore~I would like to spend more time with my family``wowo Have a good mylotting day!!

I would not say my PC is my best friend, although I do spend more than 8 hours on it. To me it’s a tool to know outside world, it’s a tool to contact with my friends and family. Last but not least it’s a tool for me to make money online. From your question I do rethink maybe I spend too much time on internet. It’s true. I worry if I continue to do like that I will have no interest in the real world. I’m getting to close the door of contacting with real people around me. So maybe I do need to change my schedule a little. But I’m sure I will never leave my PC away.

I can't go to the extent of saying that my pc is my best friend. However, my pc is a very close friend of mine. I use the social networking sites to keep in touch with both my in-real-life friends and my family and I also use them to keep in touch with my virtual friends. I play games on the internet and I also do a lot of digital scrapbooking on my computer. In this century it seems that the computer is becoming as much a part of a person's life as anything.

I wouldn't say that my PC is my best friend, but is really useful to me. I make friends in real life, but that does not mean that I cannot make additional friends online. Using the Internet I can meet a lot of great members from all around the world and learn a lot about their culture. I also use my PC for doing research, working and also as a means of entertainment.

Yes I could feel that my pc is now my best friend. As it's in my company within the day. I'm only off with it during Sundays as it's a whole day schedule for my son. It helps me smile everytime I read and see the comments of my online friends everytime I open it. I couled express my feelings to my friends thru this and also I could express my opinions and explore my ideas because of my pc and lastly it gives me earnings as well.

well. i have to admit that i have spent most of my time with my computer already so no doubet the computer is the most closed friend to me and it helped me to earn money and settle the work. i also have entertain through the computer and that's the most valued thing on my life already.

PC and Internet served as my job, my passion and my entertainment source. It's another way for me to connect with my friends all over the world. But I still have a real life. I hang out with friends in the cafe, still go shopping in the mall and much more. I don't face the Internet 24/7.

Yes, the Internet is an important part of my life just like many other people. I have to spend a couple hours at least online everyday. I like to go chat with people online, watch videos, listen to music, and social network on Mylot and other sites. I find it hard to be social with strangers in real life too.

Best friend? Almost! Since i spend most of my free time on internet and make a lot fun stuff, somehow can be considered a friend but not best friend. My real friends in the real world are actually on the same boat with me. We do the chatting and the games online sometimes and have a talk (of course we still do it personally). Though i can lose my PC, i cant dare losing my friends. My real best friends.

I do not think that my Pc is my best friend, I have real friends in life and I love them, my PC is only an interest for me.

it is the most important thing in my life bcoz more than anything alse in my life i spend my hours on my pc. i cannot live without it , without it my life would be like a mobile without a sim, a car without petrol, computer without internet. i spent about 18 hours with my best friend which is my pc.

For me...my pc is my best buddy. I keep on having this addiction. I asked myself why but I can't answer it. It is good that I have goals to accomplish but it looks like it has taken away my life. That's why I think I have internet disorder....I have to say I am pretty much Virtual than social but if you ask me..More and more people are getting addicted to the internet. It is a way of life nowadays...Did you see the advancement in technology..I bet you have...It is quite unseperatable from us anymore that technology are taking control of our life bit by bit. I would say that it can be solved but we still need to maintain a strong faith that pc alone does not solve all problems but it is indeed awesome and a great tool for mankind

I mean, I don't think that it can replace my family, but I definitely think that it can replace my friends, at least my PC can keep secrets, while my friends can't. Yes, my laptop is my best friend. I pretty much depend on him especially when I need to do some background checks and other stuffs.

My PC is my coworker. I work with him when i have to and i go out with him when i'm bore and have nothing else to do :P. Yes we have become less social than we use to. But i have the feeling that's not gonna drastically worsen things that much out...at least not here anyway.
