Have you joined a group on face book and that the people on the group that you may have joined may have asked you to be their friend.I joined a group that was a add me group and within 24 hours i had 50 people wanting to add me as their friend,i left that group in a hurry.lol.

I sent my account to completely private. Only people who are already my friends can see my profile. If they're not on my list then they can't even find me in a search. This way the only people that are on my friends list are people I know and that I sent a request to

wow - i wonder why you're getting so many random friend requests? I never get random friend requests on Facebook and when I do, I just ignore them!

Next time you go into Facebook, go to your "Settings" and change "Privacy" under "Search". Under "Search Result Content", take off the check mark that says "A link to add me as a friend". This way no one can randomly add you as there won't be a link to it when they find you in a search. You might be getting add requests from the pages or groups you joined on Facebook. Sometimes I get requests like that . . . and looking at their basic info, I can guess where they found me. I don't add people I don't know. Make sure you truly don't know them. People change their names sometimes . . . especially women if they got married. I've gotten a few like that. If you want to limit your friends, then just don't add them . . . push "ignore" so you won't have to see the request anymore. If you already have some friends on Facebook you don't want, just delete them. Good luck!
