Can someone tell me how to change my profile photo

I've been trying to change my profile photo and can't figure out how to do it. Can someone help me please and tell me how to do this.

Well i also have the same problem. I Thought to change your profile picture you need to setting your profile page. But i am wrong. The setting was never in the profile page. To change your profile picture, you need to go to the preferences, there you can then change your avatar. Strange is it?
