Quality or Quanity?

have you noticed people just popping in on a discussion so they can get another point next to their name? I think its annoying, this is a open forum first and a way to get some money (possibly) second, not the other way around. To me the money is just a benefit, i still like having real conversations, am I the only one?

I see alot of garbled posts that are nothing but a jumble of letters.
