When I go out to eat chinese, I eat until I'm about t explode. But why when I get home I'm hungry again? Is it something that they put in the food to trick your stomach that it's full. I don't know, I just know that I can eat a full dinner when I get home. What is it about chinese food that fil you up for the time, but your hungry 2 hours later?

Hello,
Yea I know, it happens to me all the time. But for some reason it only happens whenever I eat out, for example when I eat at McDonalds or have Chinese, or even KFC, I am full then, but hungry after about 2-3 hours. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I think it is because of chinese foods are very delicious and healthy. I don't believe if there's a trick which can make your stomach full for a while. You can see by your own eyes what things you put inside your stomach when you eat it right? So that all is real foods, not imagination. Let me try to answer your question from my own perspective. We all agree if chinese foods are delicious, and also healthy because they use natural ingredients and natural seasoning when they cooked. So, since those foods are healthy, which mean can improve our body's health and good for our body, so our body will digesting those food faster when those foods arrive in our intestine. So the absorbing process is faster than another foods. And the metabolism process is running fast as well. That's why usually you'll feel stronger and more energetic when you have finish your chinese foods. So because the abrosbing and metabolism processing faster than another foods, that's why you'll get hungry soon. The different thing will happened to you if you eat junk foods, such as hamburger. You will feel you got full for a longer time if you eat junk foods that is because such foods are bad for your body, and very fatty, especially bad fats such as cholesterols, that's why our body will process it slowly and we will feel full longer than if you eat healthy foods. However i'm not a doctor. As what i said before, i only try to answer your question from my own perspective. So you may correct me if i'm wrong. I'm also a chinese foods lover, so i also have the same experiences with you. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

well if you are talking about noodles, i think it is made of flour which is easy to digest and is digested quickly. also food with excessive liquid content (soup style) fill up your stomach more quickly (and digests quickly) than dry food. try including some bread with chinese, it might solve your problem.

My finacee and I were asking each other the same thing recently - our favourite restaurant is a Chinese buffet where you can literally eat yourself silly (which he has done on occassion!) But we come out of there pretty full and a few hours later we are hungry again!
I think it is the fact that a lot of the food is quite salty, so we tend to drink a lot with it - the water fills up your stomach makiing you feel full. But after a few good trips to the WC you are empty and hungry again!
