Suppose a new drug was discovered, and u didnt know what it could cause, but it is being developed to cure an ailment u have? Would u offer urself as a guinea pig, risking life or at worse a lifetime health problem? What if at all would be ur terms and conditions to undergo such experiments, and do u know any pharmaceutical company or drug developer or university that takes such volunteers. Do u think it is advisable for terminally ill to under go such treatments, as it at least might cover the cost of their treatment?

It depends on the ailment. If it were a terminal illness I might try something experimental. If it were merely annoying, I probably wouldn't.

Yeah if I had a disease that could possibly be helped with research that I could be part of then I would definitely go for it. I guess you have to take risks when it comes to disease because there are some disease out there that still don't really have a cure. We should be willing to try something new that could possibly help with whatever disease it happens to be's cause.

Here comes a brave one. Very very few have agreed to be this brave u know. :) Dont worry, u have company in me. :) And I agree with ur logic. Some risks are absolutely essential. We take more risks for ourselves and ourselves by electing our politicians whose sanity is questionable most of the time. So why not a smaller level risk. Thanks for responding. :) Have a nice day. :)

i think they are very courageous people who offer themselves as guinea pigs but for the terminally ill people ,it doesnt make a difference i suppose unless there sufferring will increase.in my case,i would think twice before offering myself.

No, i will let other people to try it first, when it becomes effective then maybe I'll try. But, it also depend on the person body types if she could take it, but for my own safety,,I will observe first the outcomes before I try. I do not like to end up like an guinea pigs being experimented and end up with more deformation..

I'm sorry. I'm married and have two daughters to support, so the idea of trying it on me would be the last thing on my mind.
