I believe anyplace can be romantic provided you're with the right person.

When I was in France, it wasn't romantic for me, but a day in New York was. So in my view New York is more romantic than Paris!

Yes, France is a romantic country. The sound of the language is romantic and charming. The architecture is romantic and attractive. Paris is a very romantic city and its best sight is the Eiffel Tower. It has a lovely river and many gardens for lovers to explore together. France is full of stunning looking towns and picturesque villages. I like the natural scenery of coastline, mountains, rivers and countryside. It is the most popular tourist destination in the world. It is next door to my home country. I have been to French Polynesia and that is like France in the Tropics. There are other romantic cities that are cheaper than Paris like Prague and Budapest. Western Europe is more pricey than Eastern Europe generally. Happy traveling.
