Do you use a third-party software to change your Windows themes?

Previously, I have used Style xp program to change my windows xp themes to vista, linux, apple and others of interest. You could even create your own themes using style builder. But I have noticed that it also slowed down my windows performance so I just uninstalled it and used just the default windows themes. How about you, are you presently using a third-party software to change your computer themes? or are you content with the default windows theme.

I have XP, and I'm currently using Windows Blinds to change my theme. I got tired of the same theme one day and decided to find some way to change it. I stumbled upon Windows Blinds somehow and fell in love with the many themes. It doesn't slow down my computer, at least, not to the point where it would be noticeable.
Windows Blinds has some built-in themes, but you can also search for other themes that others have made and install them in or you can create your own. Only downside is that Windows Blinds isn't free.

I have previously installed style xp to change my theme and style builder to create my own theme. They are also not free but you can use it for free 30-day trial. I think it is better than windows blinds because you create your own theme and color it accordingly. It is easier to use, you only need a graphics editing program like adobe photoshop to create your own themes.

Yeah, that's true. I saw some screenshots of the program on how to create your own themes, and it did look like a long and complicated. Plus, I'd have to pay extra to use that feature, so I didn't get it. It's okay, I'd rather spend time looking for a cool theme than making one.

I do, BricoPacks Vista Inspirat 2 for my Windows XP. I don't particularly dress up my desktop but I like the vista icon so much than when I encounter Inspirat 2 I sort of fell in love with it. I love the icons but my theme is just the old classic one.
Have a great time Levite

I've been using it since my 1.5Ghz AMD so I would say very negligible effects on resources. It include the cool rocketdock bar, nothing on the system tray except when you include ubericon(fancy icon effects) and Y'z Shadow(window shadow) in your installation. Check its theme here http://www.crystalxp.net/bricopack/
