are you receiving notifications of new discussions from your friends?

Hi neildc, There is 3 possibility for that. 1. Our notification didn't function well. 2. You didn't ON the notification for that friends. You have to go to your friends list and put their notify "ON". 3. The discussion is an old discussion but just responded or commented by someone. You would not get the notification unless they comment on your tread. I always experience it because I didn't ON all my friends notify. It is good if our friends were here but if they can't, we still have other mylotter to mess up with. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I am getting all of mine today with no problems at all. from what I read above it is Hiccup that is giving you hiccups and surely that is normal? I got Hiccup's notifiers without any hiccups here at all!

yes i have. when i open my email i have fifteen notifications of what my friends started discussion. i feel sad when i open my email then found nothing in there. i always look forward on seeing and reading what my friends started and response at it as long as i know what to say. there are a few that i can not say anything so i just jump to the next discussion, but i always open my mail to see the notification, discussions or comments.

Hi neil! Yes I do receive notifications whenever my friends starts a discussion. But there are times that I notice the emails are delayed so maybe that's the reason why you're not receiving your mylot notifications.

hello there my friend neildc... well i dont received such notifications because i dont check those things in the preference section. i dont like receiving so many things from any of my sites. but i always put in mind my friends whom i have to response. i treasure my friend and always find ways to know how to repay or help them through the things that i am making for them. jhelai

It was only last night where i couldn't afford to have my friends new discussions. i have no idea why, maybe they run out of ideas or that day none of the users where thinking of what to do. but now i got bombarded with my friends messages.such as yourself

Hi neildc, I have over 100 this time and deleted a lot of it...I can't spend longer here anymore but I still enjoy coming here once in a while. To answer your question, yes I am and I am glad I still see few friends who are active!

Hi neil, am receiving emails about discussions sometimes not many but other times quite a lot...I do find that the lot seems to be on go slow sometimes then all of a sudden you are inundated with discussions so I wouldn't worry too much about it, plus it has been school holidays so some people may not of been able to come here often...LoLo

I am still getting my notifications from mylot. I guess my friends are still pretty active:)

I hadn't at the time you posted this, but I have now... I don't have my notifications turned on. Can't keep up with them!

I recieve the notifications when certain friends create new discussions but for some reason, no one seems to get notifications whenever I make new discussions.

I am not having that problem at the moment, but it wasn't long ago when I was not receiving email notifications of new discussions. I wasn't even receiving email notifications of comments to my own discussions. I think we've all gone through this at least once. It has happened to me about 3 or 4 times since I joined last year. I do think it's odd that we all don't experience this problem at the same time, though. I would think that, if some members are not receiving email notifications, no one should be receiving them. Likewise, if some are receiving them, all should be receiving them. But, it doesn't seem to work that way. Don't worry. You will be receiving your notifications again soon. These things never seem to last long. When it happens to me, I just look under the tab "friends started" and find new discussions there. I've had to go into my own homepage and find discussions I've written to be able to see any comments left there. But, like I said, it should work for you again soon. It never lasts long. Hi Neil, Evefrything is ok at this end, I have recieving a lot of discussion and its keeping me going, even forgot to have my lunch and its now dinner time lol! its just maybe your serving that is acting up. Tamara

Well i used received a lot of emails of my friends creating discussion but it had been becoming lesser and lesser but i am still happy to see they are coming every now and then yea .

im assuming i am since my mailbox is full but i havent been getting on mylot enough to notice for sure sorry =( sometimes mylot will not give you anything for a few hours and then BOOM you get slammed with them
