I know there are lots of silly rules out there that we all have to abide by every day at work, and I am sure there are even more out in the big wide world....
I fear that my starter rule is going to be a poor one by comparison but I shall post it never the less...
"I am not allowed hot drinks at work.... to hide the fact I have one I have to use an adult sippy cup!".... grrrr... no one bans me from my coffee!!!
My fellow mylotters I am sure you can enlighten me with loads more silly rules and regulations as I am in need of a good giggle today..... Bring them on!

Ok, so let me know what you think about this. My job doesn't have a written list of rules, so I guess you can say it's a case by case thing. So we don't find out what holiday's we get off, or get out early until that week if we're lucky, but usualy we find out the day before. I used to work full time and received 3 weeks paid vacation, now I'm part-time (since I had my son) and now I only get 2 weeks? Do you think that's normal that they take a week away. The way I see it, I already put in time to reach those 3 weeks.

It is a little hard for me to comment on this as I can't really find much to say - I don't know what you do or your personal circumstances which makes it difficult to comment from a point of understanding...
What I do know is that if you only work 66% of the time you only get 66% of the holiday entitlement - that may not be what you wanted to hear though?
