Is pot cooking tastes good and healtheir than ordinary cooking in vessels?

My grandma used to cook using pot vessels and dishes she tastes good. But my mom never like to cook using pot vessels. But the dishes will not taste good. Friends cooking a delicious food needs "good ingredient ratio" or "good ingredient ratio + Pot vessels"
