how do you like Facebook?

I was one of those people who said they wouldn't join it, and ended up on there just because a friend wanted me to look at hers. Now? Everyday, I have to check in and see whats going on with my people, and I even run a fanpage for my favorite actor! So, thats me sucked in...lol Seriously, as someone who has moved countries I find it really good for keeping in touch with people. Realistically, I am never going to get round to writing letters to all my friends back in England, but I can keep up almost daily on Facebook with a quick comment to their page. I can share photos and videos with them, and quickly see theirs of events I may have missed. I can look in on my niece and nephew - for example, I got to see a load of photos of my nieces first day at school! I've also made contact with family and friends I lost touch with, and its helped me make friends here in America too, as when I make a friend here we can connect on Facebook too. And finally the fanpage I run has connected me with 4600 other fans of this actor, from 18 different countries! Nice to know I'm not alone! So, yes, I would recommend Facebook, even to the formerly cynical like myself!

i honestly do not like facebook that much.. i do have an account and lots of friends there,,,but i find the site pretty lame. I have been doing frinedster for years before I joined facebook. and even if all my friends moved to facebook. i still find FS more friendly site

ive just this week joined Facebook to keep up with family back east. i do have a myspace account also but never look at it and have never done anything with it. personally i find them both annoying. Facebook in my opinion, just has too much silly stuff. send a smiley a bunch of roses, ask for help with farming, hit ppl with a pillow etc etc. so much that whenever anybody on my list does that i get a homepage overflowing with all these stupid things that im not interested in at all. course i am still exploring the site as i have time so there may be a way to turn off all those things i hope. but keep in mind that 95% of my time online is spent working and im the "get in, get the job done, get out" type of person lol!

I think face book is a good place to socialise as well as catch up on all new events that are going on in your area.I also think that there are great games on there that you can play with friends.There are groups that you can join and get to know other people with the same interests as yourself.

i agree with you that there are a lots of social networking sites over the net, one area that i like face book is their fun quizzes, and easy access to all of your friends over that site, some of my friends are addicted to face book games and i have a lot of pending request on it but i decline it for it would be another slice of my time. I am maintaining my face book account to get connected with all of my friends.

I love facebook and have been using it for years now. However, I do not like the applications! I personall think faceboko would be so much better without any applications. Just the friends part, wall posts, videos, photos, things like that. NO GAME APPS AND NO STUPID REQUESTS!

well until now i still can't accept facebook yea because it is kinda of lack in privacy protection

i only recently joined facebook a few weeks ago and i have to say i like it very much. it is fun and i have reconnected with people i have not seen or talked to in years. it is fun to see photos of them and their families and catch up on what they have been doing all these years. it is also a great way to stay in touch with the people who i am in touch with regularly as well.

I so love facebook. I always login to my facebook account just to check on my friends updates on what they are doing. It makes you updated on how everybody is doing and mostly nowadays everybody is online to chat with friends. It is not boring and its just so much fun to go online with facebook compared to other sites.

I only ever use facebook. All my friends and colleagues are on it. I play games on it and am even arranging a college reunion through it. I really like finding out what my friends are upto, and me and my girls even arrange our nights out via facebook. I think I can safely say that I am totally addicted to facebook. I do sometimes use twitter as well but not as much as FB!

I enjoy the easy and nice layout of Facebook. I find it really easy to understand. I can look up friends from my past there. Its a great place to socialize and play games and do many other things too. I visit my Facebook page everyday.

I like facebook because of its applications like farmtown, farmville and other addictive apps. But what I really like most in facebook is that most of the owners or users are more matured than of the friendster. I was an addict user of friendster but since a friend of mine introduces me facebook, I already liked it and now, I am hooked to it. Like now, I am openning my account in facebook and played farmtown which I am really hooked into.

I like facebook.I like to search friends.I like quizzes in Facebook.It is a damn cool website .But in INdia it is not so much populer.In India Orkut is much more popular than facebook.If i will compare Both facebook and orkut than Orkut is a little bit nice than Facebook. Orkut is too easy to use but facebook is little confusing.:-)

It's okay, I guess, but a little overrated in my opinion. I do like a couple of the applications, such as finding old classmates and the family tree that they have on there. But I rarely ever go on facebook. I'd rather mylot instead! Happy mylotting!

I love Facebook and it has become part of my online life nowadays. Routinely, that is. There are lots of things going on there; and it's a magical site by itself. But I do agree Facebook is getting overrated and it seems everyone is into it. Can't help it, I'm addicted; for the games mostly, for the networking and interaction with others too. But I do get more words out in mylot rather than there, where I just comment on game things and stuff like that.

i think facebook is one of the best sites to socialize with people and make friends...it makes me to be in touch with my friends ,relatives regularly..plus there are some exciting features like taking quizzes..moreover you can also play games if you feel bored and have no one to chat with...its a really cool site...

I love facebook the same reason that you do. Also I love how you can become a fan of something and everything. I love it very much.

everytime i go online,I will check my status frst at facebook. It helps me to find up to date information about my friends and colleagues. Even sometimes it just crap info.. But I still need it.
