Just recently got let go of my current job can i file unemployment

I just recently got let off my current job i was only there for 2/12 weeks and they said they didnt need me anymore can i file for unemployment i have kids and i am trying to currently find another job but its hard now and days just wondering if i could file for unemployment since i got laid off they didn't need me nomore!

I don't think there is a time limit to how long you had to be hired for. Unemployment usually goes by why you were fires - the reason the company gives the labor department - and if the company is willing to pay unemployment.
