Hi zhuhuifen, Once again you are right. Learning to count, to read and write are important but not as essential as the ABC's of life. We must remember that we are meant to be loving, caring parents, good examples to our children and not merely someone who cares for their physical needs. We must teach our child to respect the wishes, the concerns and the beliefs of others. Honesty and fair place as well as being a good friend are also part of the vocabulary. Being a parent is the most important job we can have, but also the most rewarding. Blessings.

Thanks for your responding. Parents must be wise to teach wise children.

This is definitely agreeable on my part! I DO teach my daughter to count, she is 19 months, but I am more worried about rights and wrongs in our household, and she is already becoming a great listener, and yes she does tempt us on things she shouldn't, but because I started her young on light discipline, she is learning really fast :)
