I let my dog stay in the kitchen whenever she's in the house since the majority of my house is carpetted. I have a pretty large kitchen and there's a bathroom next to the backdoor that leads into the kitchen. Sometimes when I use this bathroom, my dog will wait outside the door like she's waiting her turn in the bathroom, LOL! If she happens to be there when I get through, I will say "Your turn!" I think she just knows that's where I am. Also, if she sees me eating something, she will hold her head like she's puzzled about something. It's like she's thinking, "Why can't I have some of that?" Of course, I never feed her human food. Tell us about your pet's cute antics.

My Abby will tease the neighbours, the one neighbour she knows he don't like poop on his 2 acres property, eventhough he never walks near the one area she will squat and pretend to poop when she sees him walking by and then he will chase her. Its funny because she runs to her pooping area in the forest after she has tired him out. And the other neighbour, she will open their screen door with her paw then steal their dirty laundry and bring it home. This neighbour always knows where to come find his dirty socks. Good thing we have a big yard and I could keep her in it, because she could go on teasing the neighbours all day long. Abby is a cross between an English Pointer and Husky, she might have a little Collie in her but the Vet is not to sure.

My dog sleeps in the kitchen. Sometimes she'll wake up before I do but most of the time, she wakes up about the same time. There is a new house coming up next door to me and if she hears anybody driving up over there or any noise whatsoever, she will start barking. Kathy.

when i am busy typing on my computer and my cat is hungry, he comes to me and starts tapping on my shoulder with his paw to get my attention, or he will pull my clothes with his mouth, tugging at me to get up and feed him. he is very demanding when he wants his food.
my current cat as well as my late pets when they were alive, used to join me in the bathroom when i go to the bathroom. they like to hang out with me in the bathroom, like it is a party.
if i am watching tv on the couch, my cat will sit by me and watch with me.

This is so cute! It reminds me of a small child wanting your attention! Pets are a lot like children, don't you think? I never have had any children, myself, and my pets are my kids, lol! Prissy will watch television with me whenever I hold her in my lap in the den. I will be watching something about horses on rfdtv and she will watch it like she's trying to learn something, herself, lol! Thank you for respondig and happy mylotting! Kathy.

Hey cyrus! My cats do that too! When I go in to the bathroom
to take a shower my cats wait outside the door and cry! I
don't know what it is or why! I think they think I'm going
to disappear and not come back! As soon as I come out of the
shower they have to "see me"! And my dog used to do that
when we were eating something too! He would put his head to
the side and look so cute so we would feed him too! My
cat Luna is like a dog! He likes to eat "people food" sometimes!
He loves ice cream and when he hears me go into the freezer he
comes running into the kitchen from wherever he is in the apartment!
I let him lick my ice cream cone and my boyfriend just looks at
me with this look of disgust! He thinks it's gross that I let
the cat lick my ice cream cone, but I love Luna and I don't
mind sharing my ice cream cone with him because he's my baby!
His brother Star doesn't like ice cream!

Hi Opal! Thank you for sharing this! This is so cute! I guess your cats miss you when you're in the shower! When my sister's middle daughter was just a baby, she would hang outside the bathroom door while my sister was in the tub. She had separation anxiety. Your story reminded me of this. Would you believe this girl lives alone now? She is engaged, though.
Sometimes when I'm eating a meal, Prissy will just look at me with her head to the side and she'll just frown at me like she wonders shat in the world I'm doing, lol! Kathy.

My cat Jada is so adorable. She fetches crumpled up paper balls like a pro. It is the funniest thing to watch. No matter where it is thrown she will climb, jump, or dig to get at it.
By far, the funniest thing she does however is watch me shower. Sounds gross but its actually really cute. If I am in the shower and nobody else is home, she will put her paws on the ledge and stay there the entire time. Unless I accidentally splash her with water, then she darts away and doesn't come back.

Our Labrador Retriever named Lilo was pretty funny. Sadly she is already in doggy heaven, but there is funny trick she used to do. Since she's isn't allowed in the house (she is hyper and messy), she's usually running around outside by the windows. When we are in the dining room eating, we would call her and the funny thing is that our window is pretty high, so to see us, she would leap up and then we would see her funny face through the window for like a second or two. She does it every time we call out to her. However, right under our window, we have some bushes and the place where she leaps, it is completely ruined and the wall has all these dirty paw prints. Haha.... I miss her.

Hi Kathy: I wish I felt like writing more today but I don't, but my cat Screamer
always follows me to the bathroom as for her this is PLAY TIME while mommy does
her business on the pot...LOL!
she will bring one of her favorite toys with her when I go to the bathroom,
she wants me to throw it, and she will fetch the toy , it may be a piece of
plastic, or a weed eating string I throw for her, or one of her mousey toys
you just never know but she will go physco playing while I sit on the pot and laugh
at her, oh and I have to also throw the toy in the bathtub too...she loves to
play in the bathtub...crazy cat!!!
miss you.....

Well I have a Lhasa Apso who doesn't bark much. We've had her for close to four months now and she has maybe barked three times. She only barks when she hears an unusual sound which I guess makes her a great watch dog. Yesterday my daughter was rolling a toy car across the desk and when my dog heard it she made the cutest little barking noise, a bit strange but cute, and when my daughter stopped she would stop. This went on a few times and each time her bark got a little louder and she kept looking around trying to see what was making the noise.

My dog sits in the bathroom with me. She gives me the strangest looks LOL, but she also puts her head on my knee and I know she wants me up and walking her on her daily walk.
she also likes me to sing to her. When I say, go through, she goes between my legs when we are walking several times as I sing.
She's never been leash trained and yet I put one on her the other days along with a red harness and she heard every command and minded me.
She's got those brown eyes that talk to you and tilts her head and you know she knows every word you are saying.
She sleeps till I get up and not before.
I am going on a trip soon and hope she does well for me in the car.
This worries me, but i'm not going till Oct, so got some time and she's smart enough to figure out she can ride in a care after all !! but, it's such a long ways too.
Oh well, dogs are all smart to some extent and even funny:)

Your dog sounds very smart. I think she'll do all right on the trip. At least, I hope so. My dog loves to go for a ride in the car! I never have taken her on a long trip, though. She thinks she has to go with me everywhere, lol! I don't let her go everywhere. I'll tell her that dogs aren't allowed to go certain places and she'll give me the funniest look. It's like she's thinking "Well! I might as well protest then"! Hehehe! What kind of dog do you have, btw? Kathy.
