My oldest son is ready for college, got the points he wanted with a little over, and got accepted to the first college of his choice. Now the problem arises. due to the downturn, and some basic bad luck, and with 3 younger siblings, one starting secondary (jr high), one about to complete the junior cert (high school)- and one in primary school, it is expensive and a lot of other things, trying to figure out how to raise some money to get the registration fee anyway. Decided that it is worth a shot, - but going to do a sponsored hair cut. He has long hair, and probably about 6-7 inches to take off. So anyone want to sponsor a college bound 17 year old so he can raise the registration fee?(that's another issue, can't get student loans, etc because he won't be 18 till feb) - He is going to commute, as we can't quite afford the accommodation costs. As far as grants, etc - we are just over the limit (which as many of you know doesn't take into account bills going out including mortgages) Going to post a pic of the back of his head on my website later today. Figure on (hopefully) getting people to sponsor so much per inch, and to donate ! Hope this isn't against any rules. caprinescene.tk is the address.
