Hello to you. This is a common thing, and a very sad thing. Some people think it is okay to hit or abuse a spouse. I think it is never okay. That has happened to me, and it makes the love you have for a spouse die. Often, once it starts, the hitting and violence just keeps getting worse. It is dangerous. It can lead to killing. It is a sign that someone cannot at all control the temper. Anyone in such a relationship should leave it as soon as possible! Karen

I agree with you their is too much domestic violence in the world today. I do not understand why a man would want to hit his wife. or why a wife would want to hit their husband. It is a shame that people that are supposed be in love, have so much hatred toward each other.
