How often do you give gifts?

When it come to gifts there is a different between boys and girls. I think girls are expected to give more gifts, be more thoughtful, more creative. I think you uncle will be much happier if you show him respect in return and asked every so often if you can help him with anything he needs.

I don't really give gifts all that often because I am in the same boat as you - I'm a student and the money I make working goes to pay bills. When I do give gifts, I try to be creative and make something. A bouquet of paper or foam flowers is cute in a recycled jar. A cheap thrifted tshirt decorated with a stencil and some cheap acrylic paint mixed with dish soap is a great gift that can be highly personalized. (a $1 dollar bottle of acrylic paint will make many, many tees, so choose a neutral colour like black that you could use over again, rather than pink which you probably wouldn't give to a guy friend)

I don't give much gifts. I give it when it is a special occassion like birthday. My friends birthday fell last month and I gave her a hand bag as gift. I also gave her choclates. Another friend is getting married in December. I will give her an expensive gift for sure. I am planning to get gold earrings for her. I usually give some gifts for my parents when I go home.
