I ask you this because I want to hear from you about how you get along with your family members. I know that most of us have our closest family members, because we can get along well with them, or we are comfortable with them or something. For me, all of my family members are close to me. So, how about you? Who is your closest family member?

My family was the type that only got together twice a year for holidays .
We didn't speak the rest of the time . I live far away from my family now .
and I can honestly say that the only one I miss is my daughter . I am very close to my daughter , and talk to her on instant messenger everyday .
She also comes down to see us in the winter .

I must say that my mom, is the closest person to me..not only in the family,,..but in the whole world..
She is my best friend. and we share so much...
she knows my secrets and I could be very open with her as she is the most understanding person in the world.

I am close to my father than my mother because he is very understanding and never nag a lot. Then, to my eldest sister just like my father her patience and understanding is good. While, my other companion in the home , i also get along with them but not all the times sometimes were engage in heated discussion from some controversial issues but it is resolve in matter of minutes.

My whole family are pretty close in general but the person that i would have to say that i am the closest to is my mum. She is like my best friend and an older version of myself, we get along great and i can tell her anything. She also spends a lot of time with my daughter too which brings us all even closer. Growing up my dad wasnt around much so i guess its inevitable that me and my um are close.

My father. :-) When I was young I was terrified of him, and almost throughout my working life, I have been at his throat! Virtually hounding him to do this and that, and failing to do this and that. Any other person would have left me alone and gone his way. But not my father. He still held on to me, tolerated my bossy nature, and put up with my tantrums. He deserves a Nobel prize for being such a good father. :-) Well, after leaving the job I started working at home. And from here, I realize how tough it has been for him with me. And another realization dawned on me. We may not be together for long. Not that either of us is down with any ailment, but then age is a factor. He is 75 now. So I want to gather all the moments that I can from now so that I have something of him. Everytime he does something sweet, I am near tears, because I feel I dont deserve it. But it is not repentence alone, it is fear of losing him, and the fear that I might not get enough and that I have been blind so far not realizing what a precious gift gods have bestowed on me. And of course he has the sweetest smile - I think he could ask me anything under the sun and I would give it if he smiled like that. :-)
