a complete bowl of soggy cereal?
I don't like crunchy cereals, unlike my wife who loves a little crunch in her bunch. I'd rather eat a bowl of cereal after it has gotten half way soggy and half way still crunchy. How about you? I have eaten a bowl of completely soggy cereal before, but it tasted like a COLD bowl of oatmeal, so I didn't try that any more.
How do you eat your cereal? What brand(s) you do like? {b]for me, I like cheerios, or honey nut o's (which is the store brand of cheerios).
Do you buy store brand foods?
Do you think the store brand cereals are any better than the name brand?

Some of the cereals that I like are Kellogg's Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches Of Oats, Frosted Mini Wheats, and Special K. There are others I like but those are my overall favorites. The only problem is that I am diabetic and cereal alone is not real food, or at least my body doesn't recognize it as such so I have to have protein along with it if I have cereal. I don't really like store brands of cereal, I do think they taste somewhat different than the big name brands. For example, store brand Rice Krispies are too hard and don't work well for rice krispy treats. Gotta have the name brand, found that out the hard way.

Have you tried any of the Kashi brand cereals? From my understanding they have lots of protein without compromising the taste. That and another cereal called BAR NONE they are mostly granola type cereals though.

Well I can eat them not soggy, half soggy, or all soggy, but my favorite would have to be not soggy at all. I also like the crunch, but it doesn't bother me if there is none. My favorite brands are: Honey Comb, reeses puffs, and fruity and chocalate peebles. I will sometimes buy brand foods, but it seems to me that they taste the same whether there brand or not.

I don't like the overly SWEET cereals like the reeses puffs, fruity and chocolate peebles. I agree the store brands usually taste exactly the same as the name brands, the only difference is the price.

I have eaten soggy cereal, and it is not my favorite. I like mine to crunch. From my MyPoints account I printed lots of Cheerios coupons, all different varieties. I will put some of the sweeter ones on my ice cream. A nurse I met through work says that Cheerios, for her is better than a Statin for lowering her cholesterol. Most days I have either Cheerios, including the store brand, or a bowl of oatmeal. I eat my oat meat hot.I ate cold oatmeal at Grandma's, a million years ago when I was young.

You are not alone. I like the one that half way soggy too, not the one completely soggy. I did taste the that completely soggy, and I don't really like it. My husband like the one still crunchy so everytime he eat his cereal he always do it very quick.
I like the Life Cereal with cinnamon taste in it.

Hi hdjohnson, I could never ever contemplate eating a bowl of soggy cereals.
I totally loathe milk so if it goes on the cereals it is with the intent of wetting them just a little, then I hold the cereal down with the spoon and pour the milk away.
I have now convinced my son that the exact same cereal is in the cheaper box as in the one that costs twice as much.

LOL, I could not eat soggy cereal. Every year for fathers day my daughter wakes up and makes me cereal for breakfast. The funny thing though is she never wakes me up...LOL. So by the time I go to Eat it it's super soggy. I just can't palate the taste. As a kid my favorite cereal was cookie crisp, but know i usually just eat frosted flakes. as for store brand cereals, i do buy them depending on what the kids want. some you can't really tell the difference but some or just not as good as the major brands.

I like my cereal hard, and my milk cold. I do not like the texture of soggy cereal, especially since it is cold. And I can barely stand milk, especially when it starts to get warmer. Lately, I just avoid eating cereal and go for a breakfast bar and an apple- less time consuming, and I do not have to worry about the cereal and milk problem that I described.

I certainly remember the days of eating soggy cereal!! I used to stick to cornflakes on a regular basis and I use to really pour the milk on and the flakes became so soggy that they literally used to fall apart! Now I have eggs for breakfast so I don't have to worry about the sogginess problem anymore! Andrew
