What makes you happy?

There are a lot of things that makes us happy.. what about you? What makes you happy?
Is it money? Promotion on a job? Havings kids? Fame or Popularity? Meaningful Relationships ?Friends?

As for me, I'm happy when I get to spend time alone. I'm always around people so I'm not really a loner. But I find it good to be able to reflect at how I am living my life.

i am happy whenever we have those parties at my grandma's house and all of a sudden, far away relatives comes over. i love my family, especially my far aways. but for once, what would really make me happy is, the rumours between my mom and cousin. hopefully one day they'll hangout like they used to.

Love, relationships and other people make me happier than anything else in the world. People are everything to me! ^_^ That's one reason why I love communicating here on Mylot.
I have long felt that making other people happy is one of the greatest joys in life. My ultimate reason for being, I feel, is to find the love of my life and make him as happy as I humanly can for the rest of our lives together. I only wish that it were easier to find him! LOL... 31 and still single. And extremely shy. But I will never stop hoping! ^_^

People make me happy as well. Specially a good conversation over a really good meal. When it comes to relationships, I'd want to remain single though. I can't imagine myself tied to someone forever, or having kids. At least for now.
As for you being single and finding the ONE, let it come to you. Love will find you when you least expect it. I hope you will someday! :)

i am happy when i know all our bills are caught up to date..we have a stocked fridge and pantry and all my family are home safe and sound relaxing with each other :) thats when i am the happiest

that's true. when we're working, we want a job that secures our needs and at the end of a day we all want to go home to a happy family.. i guess, its what we all need to be happy. to be with people, we truly care about. thank you for sharing.

you mean pets? i have pets too, they're rabbits. they're all smart and sweet and fun to be with. they have different quirks that keeps me really entertained. you could see their differences too, like you could see who would rather be left alone, who loves to run around in circles and who just loves to eat or play. having my pets are a blessing to me and yes indeed, they do make me happy.

Spending quality time with my family,hubby,doing anything that benefits somebody,viewing scenic beauty,nurturing nature,fresh flowers,soft n cuddly pets,recieving appraisals from my boss.

a lot of things make me happy...but this happiness is often temporary...but when i came to realize how God values me, it gave me joy...and joy is different from happiness...now, i can say that even when i'm not happy, i have joy...=)

that's a good point.. people often search for happiness and some wait in vain. i also believe that material things are but temporary happiness. it has to be within you.. spiritually, emotionally.. thanks for the insight! :)

i cannot deny too how money can make me happy.. i mean, i could get the luxury of buying things that i want. i get to satisfy my desires. i dont have to drool over such items. haha! ;)

the things that makes me happy is watching my son grow and do different things everyday, i love shopping, and i love to spend time with my boyfriend.

All the listed suggestions, not necessarily in that order, and good health is a must as if you're not healthy then depending on the nature of the illhealth very little else will help!!

lol that's true.. you can't be happy when ur not healthy. i agree! being healthy physically really helps us to do a lot of things in life that could lead us to our own search of happiness. and im sure ull agree with me that we need to be spiritually&emotionally healthy as well. :)

the people closest to us really makes us happy. they give us assurance, encouragement and inspiration to live well. in return, we'd do anything for them, just so they will know how we appreciate them. nice reply. thank u!
