I have 3 kids and we are all fond of animals. Since I was a kid, I had various pets which ranges from worms, insects to cats, dogs, etc. I even had goat, horse and mouse...my mom was worried then what I would bring home next for a pet. I had pets because they make me happy and useful somehow as I was able to make them a home, though some of them are were not happy to be with me so i had to let them go (my mom was very glad when i did that) when I became a mom and my eldest daughter went home from school with a black python which she had bought from a pet shop, I knew what my mom felt. Of course, my initial reaction was shock but since my daughter had known from the pet shop owner how to take care of it...I trusted her. We took care of Squerpy, the python's name for a year until she got away. My daughter became depressed and was locking herself in her room for a day or two. Up to this time, she still had that way of dealing with her depression...I had tried a lot of ways to help her however, it became a habit already. My fear is that there is more to this than i know but she won't tell me. Any suggestions or advise? Thanks in advance, co-mylotters!
