Sims 3 worth it?

The only thing I can recommend is to make sure you have a DVD rom drive on your computer or laptop. The sims 3 is a DVD rom and not a CD rom like the others were. It's just one dvd as the dvd holds more space. I got this for my birthday, but had to take it back because of it not working on our computer! so be careful! other then that, visit sims3.ea.com to play snippets of games that are fun and somewhat show you what you can do with the sims 3 game, that and visit a site like youtube to check out what to expect! Frankly speaking you need not buy sims3 if you do have sims 2 but if you really wanna check it out try downloading the game from some place
