That has INSTANT (less then 10 second delay) updates for twitter.
Must give a "pop-up" window type of thing when new message appears.
Must be very low on PC resources (less then 10,000 K).
Doesn't need to support anything other then twitter.
Doesn't have to support multiple accounts.
Must be fast with twitter messages, low on PC resources, and give a pop-up window type of thing when new message appears.

I believe Pidgin has a Twitter plugin now. You'd have to check. Pidgin's site is Pidgin.im and you'd have to use a search engine to find the plugin.

Explain how it's complicated? If it's like the Facebook plugin I have, you just copy it to the plugins folder... not too hard. Oh, and you download pidgin from http://pidgin.im , it's a program on it's own, the installer is an exe.

Try Twitterfox. It is a Firefox add-on and it shows updates from who you are following. Here is the link:
