why do people gossip?

Welcome to the community of MYLOT. Gossiping is an old art and it will not go away. Some persons gossip because they are envious. Others gossip because they don't know anything else. Some gossiping can be uplifting and encouraging while others can be destructing. It depends on the individual and how it is put across.
