My Cat Jinx is like a part of the family I often refer to myself as Momma when I am speaking to him. LOL I sometimes call him mommas baby boy. And he wags his tail back and forth .I think he knows we love him. I believe animals can sense those things. My husband does the same thing and calls himself Daddy when speaking to Jinx. I know a lot of people who really love their pets and would do just about anything for them. I believe I would to How about you?

My cat is part of my family, and is my familiar. My roommate's guests get a kick out of me when he gets into trouble and I say things like "Son, just WHAT do you think you're doing?" and things of the like. My little critter came to me within a few hours after having buried a friend.. whom was an animal lover and had hair nearly the same color of my cat's fur. I very much feel that he was a gift to me, from my friend, and he will always be a protected part of my family. He plays with my daughter, as if he were a child, gets held as if he were a little baby (because he likes being held that way), carried around in my arms with his head over my shoulder... I could go on for quite some time (=

which one? I love Scamp tons, he's my favorite, but Taj and Oliver are my #1 and 2 sons, and then there's Solo, who's my grand son. On the other hand, I don't much like Zhaan, she's constantly complaining and making mountains out of mole hills, another cat even LOOKS at her and she's fussing

I like the names Scamp and Taj. If I get a cat that my daughter doesn't get to name for some reason Ive been struck to name it Zoltan if it's a boy lol

I've had kitties since I was five years old...I'm now 53 and am "owned" by two spoiled pampered felines, Pyewacket my male black cat and 8 years old and Kissy a tiger striped female who will be ten this coming October. Oh, yup...my cats have always been spoiled, and do think of them as part of the family..in fact, they ARE my family. As for doing anything and everything for them? Well, I sleep like a pretzel since when my two cats snuggle on my bed with me, I don't dare move to make sure THEY are comfortable

My 8 cats are my kids. They mean the world to me and are very much a part of this family.

Hi cherry, I was smiling when I read your discussion because I'm guilty of the same thing. My little tabby cat is called Furby/Furball or King Furball, yeah we change it up. Anyway, I call him my little Furbaby and my husband rolls his eyes at me, and I refer to myself as his Mama. lol I know it's hilarious and I can't help myself. We don't have any kids yet (the 2 legged kind), so this gives me a chance to play "mama". lol It's even funnier because when my parents come over to visit, I refer to them as Grandma and Grandpa with my cat. Ha! But yes my little cat is so spoiled rotten but a very cute, sweet little thing, great companion almost like a dog to have around, because he likes to hang out with you while you watch tv, are on the computer, etc. and just follows you around the house. He doesn't like to be picked up though unfortunately and will give me the evil eye and try to push me away with his little paws. I think he's very lucky to have us.
