wANTED TO SHARE MY WEEK W/YOU.LOL. Monday i had cooked supper for a friend of mine that had a death in her family. Since i don't get around too well she said she would come get it which was a big help to me. Her & her son came & the first thing they said u have a low tire. yea!!! He took it & put some air in it & tues. morn i took it to see about it & i had a nail in it. it was fixable, yea!. Wed. my new diswaher wouldn't come on. I had killed my old & i'm like omgosh surely i haven't killed this one to. I had not used it but one time. Service man came & it took him about 2 minutes to fix it, yea!!Then i went to the grocery & one of the things i bought was a fried pie in a box made by a good company that sells snack cakes etc. Just one problem it had ants in it, not a good thing. Thank goodness i saw the ants crawling out before i even opened the box, YUCK!How has your week been??

WOW Anti, you were having one of those OMIGOSH days weren't you. It is now a day later so I am hoping things are going better for you.
Yes, I have had those days, and it was really hard to get through them, when this happens it also make it hard for me to sleep at night. I don't handle stress to well, I think things would be a little better if I had someone to share my problems of the day with. I do share this with God.
Take care Chevee.

Mine was quite hectic. I had a week like yours a couple of weeks ago. This past week though my 16 year old was being taken to school by a family friend, and they were hit by a semi that ran a red light. Thank goodness he is doing good and has no broken bones. My friend was staying at my house most of the week, as she broke her hand and her knee is broke. My house is handicap accessible, because of my other son, so we just made a place for her. On Friday, I no longer had my guest as her family found somewhere else for her to stay. I canned tomato juice on Sat.. That was my week.

This week has been fraught with anxiety for me. :) I start graduate school today and I feel very nervous and excited at the same time. I had to attend orientation on Friday and they piled on the scariness :D But I can manage it I think. I can't wait to meet my patients (I'm going to be an SLP, a type of therapist that helps with speech) and get started on this incredible new journey.

grrr my response went bye bye so am starting again. my week was mostly mylotting as the school funds were too low to fund all our senior center activities for july and august but will commence mid sept they say.,anyway my best friend Nelda took me to 'tustin to see the brand new library that is just gorgeous and so modern. I never got to work there as I had quit two years ago.now Tustin has a great big wonderful new library. that was just great. then she took me out for lunch and we had bacon tomato and lettuce sandwiches with breaded fried zuccini sticks so good and strawberry milkshakes. a wonderful delicious lunch and that really made my day.

ohh yeah... your week that was it is really omgosh..
my week was pretty nice :) accept a landlord who is buying a new oven...
ghm.. i am thinking,, i think now is a third month when he is still buying... but anyway, i have time i will wait untill he will come to take a rent :D no new oven, no rent =] (the old one does not working, and i am making the food almost every day in it...)... other part of my week is nice.. i never spend my time so calm... i feel like after a good rest. it is really strange because my week was busy. my husband is went on the business trip and i have no driving license... i do not like go by the busses so everywhere i was walking... it was great 3 hours in the one side and plus 3 hours to come back :D
i made a nice picnic with my child in the forest. i never saw him so happy. as much picnics we had my son never looks so much happy. i think because we were going by car.. but now we were walking very long and saw very nice things and etc. which never saw going by the car.
the weekend was great. my husband come back from a business trip and we spend all the weekend together without no friends, no family members. of course with a kid... we wached the films, later went out for a dinner than for a romantic walk and etc. :)
i hope you do not feel bored for my story and your eyes not tired.

Wow, it sounds like you have had a crazy week. My week has been crazy and busy. School started this week......my daughter has not gotten the ESC bus she is suppose to get. Thebus my kids do ride on stops on a very busy street and my son almost got ran over. The man that owns the property where we ave to stand to wait on the bus s an 'A' class jerk. So trying to get the bus spot moved. Which would cause me to have to drive my kids to the bus stop. I have no problem with that.....but the question will be, will other drivers allow me out of my drive way to get to the new bus stop.

Hi ya ANTIQUELADY
Boy what a week for you huh? Well a good friend of mine came to visit with her twin boys, my eldest son used to go to school with them a few years back and they live about 400 miles from us. When they arrived we took them all off to the nearby playing field to burn some energy off. The next day I took them all down to a childrens shcool where they wer having a fun day of doing crafts, dancing and playing. As the park was next door we took them there for the rest of the day. Then in the evening I took them to a bar that had an outdoor play area for kids which was nice. It was raining heavily the next day so we took them to an indoor paly area and then to MacDonalds for a treat for dinner. The following I took them to the market, had lunch then they had to leave to go home. Since then I have been recovering and trying to catch up with laundry!! LOL

Nearly broke my back doing the gardening, mind you it is going to look a lot better, been clearing trees ,got so much light now.Nearly killed my teenage son who has been at home for three months waiting to go back and start his Alevels, got a strange sense of humor and mucks about all the time.very funny if you are in the mood ,but trying to dish up the evening meal, doing the ironing, talking on the phone it does tend to wear down your nerves.I say it is like having a sixmonth old baby either asleep or eating, but I cannot remember him getting on my nerves when he was a baby.Looking after my grandchildren.Shopping ect nothing to report as such.Ants in your pie how awful.Take care.

Hi Aunty sounds like a busy week, hope you threw that new potentially ant infested pie away. Well over here we've still been stultified by the heat but I did manage enough water yesterday to mop. I had a couple of evenings at the cafenion in the company of my friends where I was filled in on the much embellished gossip of the week and received some figs and other things straight from the trees of the fishermen. Couldn't get to the mountains as my man is still up in Athens being tested yet again on his leg and I just wish they'd lop the thing of already as I'm missing his shower which has water in it and the cool house in the mountains - ok, I'm missing him a little bit too but we get to not hear each other via the Greek mobiles. I had a hot visit to town and lots of nice discussions with my son, and cuddles too, and played chauffeur for his frequent evenings out. Oh and I spent a few hours on Mylot and even had a lovely pm from my Aunty

No, not married Aunty, done that one. Got a good man though, nice safe distance away from the local gossips, but we've not been able to see much of each other lately as he can't drive till they sort his leg out and he's been dragging round all the hospitals too, then feeling all manly guilty if I take the hot drive up there.
Got to say Aunty it feels like this heat is never going to go away, it's wiped me out today.

Do you listen to country music much? The reason why I'm asking is because I thought about that song by Daryl Worley that says "Sounds like life to me" as I was reading this, lol. It sounds like you've had a rough week. I hope this week will be better.
I had a pretty rough week last week because I was sick the whole time. I had that virus and UTI and those antibiotics made me feel pretty sick. I'm about finished with my medicine and I'm doing a lot better now. Kathy.

Hello to you. Well, now, I would say my week has been less hectic and run more smoothly than yours! LOL
I guess for me, the great stuff is more what did NOT happen than what did. For two years, my apartment flooded each time it rained.
The landlord and city got together and fixed the issues. We had a lotttt of rain this past week, and no flooding!! What a mess that used to be. The only thing that ever made me laugh about it was the time I saw one of my slippers go floating past the couch. It looked like a happy little boat in the middle of a big mess lol.
Have a wonderful day.

soooo glad u didn't have flooding, i have never been able to imagine how u would even start to clean up such a mess. I hate messes in my house. Glad they finally got it fixed. sounds like to me they needed to do that a long time before they did. Mine could have been akot worse & has been, lol. U have a great week coming uo.

I have to rush to pick up this and that from the floor, but the first time, it rushed in and I had to peel most of my photos apart and lay them on flat surfaces to dry, etc. Ack!!
Thankfully, professionals come to suck up the water, use turbo fans and a large dehumidifier to dry things, and then they shampoo and sanitize. And yes, I'd have moved if the landlord and city hadn't done something. For compensation, the landlord knocked 200 off the rent each time that had happened.
Have a peaceful evening.

My week wasn't any better. But the worst thing that happened to me was that I fell asleep in the bus on my way to work and the conductor had to come and wake me. Heaven only knows where I would have ended if he didn't. Hope you'll have a better next week.

Heyya Jo! So far so good I guess. It could be worse. I'm wore out because I've been working those stinking 10 hour days again. It's all good though because that equals extra money. I have a horrible cold that at first I was afraid I had caught the swine flu..lol..my daughter brought the bug home from school...Three weeks back and I had a sick kid. I've been drinking orange juice like it's going out of style. When she was sick(she's better now) she still wanted her good night kiss and to lay on me..I knew I was going to catch it..but I wasn't about to tell her no..lol..she's already 11..she won't want my kisses after a while..guess I'll just risk the swine flu for her love. Hmmmm....that's about all that going on around here for the week.

I hope you carry a spare and a jack--or know someone to call in case you have a flat and are not lucky enough to have a friend spot a low tire.
And that dishwasher---but got it fixed !!
Now, ANTS in a fried pie? You should have taken it back but I know how hot and tired you were after shopping, so understand why you didnn't, but sure need to report that to the manager of the store.
My week? not much but cleaning the truck out getting ready to head back to OK for he winter.
Also want to find time to look at used cars and maybe trade in my truck for a SUV.
Other than that, no biggie:)

My week was awesome! Pre-Calculus has been easy for the most part, Economics is a very interesting class with the teacher I have. Spanish 2... Is going better than Spanish 1 did at the start of my junior year. Haha. I made a one hundred on a quiz I took Monday! So yay!! :D Church was awesome Wednesday, really changed my life. It was about anger. Ooo, that's a popular thing isn't it. And today church was just as great as Wednesday. Pastor talked about the same thing T.C talked about. (T.C is my youth pastor.)
