So, if you have only one day of rest in a week, and it is Sunday, would you rather stay home all day long or going out to have some fun with your friends? For me, I would rather stay home and doing nothing, and have my plenty of rest for that day, since I need to work again on Monday? What about you? Some people aren't home person, even they work all week long, when it comes to a day off, they rather driving out and hanging out with friends.

I can be both at different times in my life. Right now I want to go out. I don't want to be home these days so I try to find different things to do outside of home to keep busy. I don't know why I get antsy at times, like this, I just know when I do I have to keep busy or I goe biserk.
Then I have times when I don't want to do anything and I even have a hard time going to work. When I get that way I have to force myself to go out because I don't want to get into a rut and do nothing.

Hi chris, it seems that you haven’t turned up at here, mylot for quite some time. I’m really happy at sight of the response you left here. Yeah, I see it accidentally while checking whether I have dropped in here earlier before writing post. Of course I have found my response posted earlier
I do have the similar feeling sometimes. I would feel bored and monotonous if busy at home for quite a long time. Yeah, it’s a best way to have the environment changed and to get ourselves refreshed when feeling antsy at home. idling about shopping mall corner or park is rather better than staying at home tiresomely.
Take care and happy posting!

Hi clorissa123
If that's the case, surely I choose to stay at home. I think the time is enough for my friend in work place and I need time for myself, time to relax and be alone. So same with you, better I choose to be alone, take a rest, gain my energy for tomorrow. But I hope none of us will face that tiring situation clorissa123..

Of course, that's the best to do when you feel tired! No need to do any activities that you don't like and you know, having time for yourself is really important

It would be nice to stay indoor of your comfy house. you don't have to endure the pressure of money spending, and other miscellaneous danger outside of your house. Just relax and enjoy a movie or two.

Hi there clorissa123!
There are instances that I prefer staying home. There are also instances that I refer to go outside. As much as possible though, I would rather stay home. By doing so, I can watch my favorite movies on DVD. Or, just go online on hours end. Or, maybe just sleep.

I work freelance jobs, so I have many days off. For times I don't have work I just stay home, watch TV, Play World of Warcraft. I can't really party either, it costs a lot of money. Money I don't have.

You assume much. My freelance graphic design / Ebay Business / online activities are enough to pay the bills. I make a contribution to the community. I'm just not motivated enough to do much more than that.

Hi clorissa, when younger I like going out with my group of friends here and there. I seldom stay at home. My mom always complained that home was just like a hotel to me She could see me and chat with me only before I go to sleep, to have meals ...
Really, during schooling days my friends and I were so energetic. Seems like we had inexhaustible energy. We could hardly stay at home doing reading, cookery, flower arranging and all those elegant hobbies. I liked swimming, mountain hiking, cycling. It’s a great pleasure to get along with friends with common interest chatting, making and eating after school.
When getting older, I prefer to stay at home and doing some relaxing activities like gardening, reading, watching tv. Yeah, the most interesting one is to read and to type mylot post. I still will go out twice or more weekly. Yeah, it’s a wonderful feeling to see the outside world and to interact with outsiders all the time
Happy posting!

Hey,
I am a type of home person, I would rather stay at home rather than to go out. I don't really know why, but I don't like to socialize for some reason. Mainly it is because no one wants to talk to me for some reason, I have no idea why. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I am a college student and weekends are like a blessing! I get to rest from the hectic life and have some time for myself finally! I am an indoor person who is an absolute introvert so I like spending my Sunday by getting up late in the morning, reading my favorite novel and watching TV or any movie. I often plan my shoppings on Sundays so that also take up some time. And once in a while I go out with my friends but I mostly prefer to stay at home.

I think a healthy balance of both is great. It's great to save money and stay home but it's still great to get out once in awhile and enjoy ourselves when we can. We have to remember to balance out our living life out today with saving money for tomorrow.

Hi Clorissa,
During my college time, I always went out with my friends during weekend, we will out for shopping, movie and chit chat in a cafe.
I am not a homely person,I can't stay at home for the whole week.
So everySunday, I will go out by myself while my husband is at home takingcare my boy.
In the morning, I will go to wet market to buy some vegetables. In the afternoon, I will out for window shopping/shopping while my son is having his nap at home.
Sometimes, during weekdays night, I will out with my family for a quick shop or just round in the road seeing the night city night view.

I think I'm in the middle. I love to go out when I'm bored. But I rather stay at home with my kid. It's just tiring to keep going out and I don't have that kind of money to go out anyway hehehheheh so crisis.

I rather stay at home and rest or do read a book or do make an article. I don't usually go out during Sunday as it is the only day of rest for me. However my free day is just Sunday so usually me and my friends plan to go out sometimes for a date or get together but it is not always happen. Once a month is better to us, but recently we haven't done it because we are saving money.

I generally prefer to go out as there are plenty of things to do that don't cost any money here in Melbourne. My partner and I often head to one of the local markets to wander and look at all the items on display, or walk into the city just to look around. We also love to browse any secondhand bookshops that are open.
In summer, we might head to the beach for the day and just relax on the sand, soaking in the warmth of the sun.
If I do stay home, I generally read or knit, rather than watching tv.

Earlier I preferred to stay at home and read books with no one to disturb but now I always want to go out and talk to people and mingle with them. Now I am in early fifties .May my age requires this .I feel relaxed and good when I have people around or when I go out.Otherwise I go into depression.

If I only have one day off then I would spend it with my family either at home or outside :) At least once a month or so we get to get out of the house and relax at the beach or watch movies at the mall or simply go shopping and have dinner. Sundays are also church days for us :) As long as the necessary chores such as laundry, dishes, etc. are done at home then I guess there's no problem going out. It's usually these stuff that are preventing me from going outside. But as long as these things don't get in the way (and depending also on the budget, lol) I would always spend my one day off going out and spending time with my family and/or friends.
