When I used to still work I would work overtime each and every time it was offerred. I never minded and looked forwards to the extra earnings. I also looked at it from the viewpoint that I should take it when offerred because there's no guarantee that it'll ever be offerred again. The only time I ever turned it down was when there was already family plans, like a family wedding or something like that. So, I always did it willingly, and was grateful for it.

I would definitely do that provided I'm not working for the sake of working. If I Love the place where I work, I will never have issues of working overtime.

There are times when I will make a point not to work overtime because I have something to do or need to get something done; in general though, I usually don't have much problem with it, usually cause it means more money. At the end of the day, we can use every dollar that we can get working, so it's something that I think can and should be done when necessary. It's not a matter of "minding" it for me, since I don't usually mind and enjoy my job mostly.

when i was working before i have done that many times already. if need be, id be willing to work overtime. there was this instance where i had worked for 24 hours straight because two of my co-employees cannot come to work on their shift, and the position we were in needs to have someone there all the time, so i had stayed at work 24 hours. i asked a family member to bring me some clothes so i can change.
and also at the other company where used to work, i've done a lot of overtime there, and i like it since my boss is my close friend too, she always had a lot of work to do so i help her most of the time whenever i dont have anything to do at home.

It's hard to imagine that you used to work for 24 hours and i hope that what you worked was not a tiring job.

working overtime sounds nice. I have worked overtime a few times. I thought the paycheck would be big. After working it out and seeing my paycheck it is not worth it. Overtime all you are working for is the tax. I know spend the time I would be working overtime just enjoying life. Life is too short to spend it all on the job. Happy lotting.

Sure I would. It may end up helping me to advance to a better position. And the extra cash never hurts either!

I have been working overtime steadily for the past 2- 3 years.
my normal hours are now at least 44 hours a week.
but I have worked upto 50 hours a week. I don't know about working to learn more. I have been at my job for 11 years. But I am working to EARN more.. because of the economy and other problems I am very much in debt and even this amount of overtime is not enough to help me dig myself out. If they gave me a few more hours of overtime I would work them.. the only problem is they say they do not have that much money to pay- in fact they have not given us a raise in two years- so I am very grateful for the Overtime I do get to work- as many others are not allowed this luxury.

Hey,
Yea I would, but it would depend if that particular day I am busy or not, or I have to have a family commitment to something. But yes as you have just said, it is really tiresome to work overtime so often. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
